Trailer Hitch for a 2011 Kia Forte Koup
Question:
Do you have a wiring harness for a 2011 Kia Forte Koup and what would be the price if you do?

Expert Reply:
For trailer wiring you would have to visit a Kia dealer since there are no confirmed aftermarket fits.
Curt trailer hitch # C11019 is the only trailer hitch that fits your 2011 Kia Forte Koup. This is a Class I trailer hitch so any accessories that you use, bike racks or cargo carriers, would have to be rated for use with a Class I trailer hitch.
Also, if using the hitch for any non-trailer load (bike racks and cargo carriers) Curt says you have to use stabilization strap # 18050 for their warranty requirements. And on a Class I hitch you are limited to carrying a maximum of 2 bikes.
If you plan on doing some towing first consult the vehicle owners manual to be sure it is permissible to do so and for the vehicle capacities. The proper ball mount to use is # C45520 and you can use 1-7/8 inch ball # 19256 or 2 inch ball # 19258.
