The Curt hitch part # 31320 attaches to the frame of your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500. The frame of a vehicle would not be a "crumple zone" and this hitch has been tested on your vehicle to be safe. The front end part of a vehicle that is designed to crumple in accidents is the bumper not the frame. view full answer...
I spoke with my contact at Fantastic Vent regarding the remote # FV9068-09 for your 12 Volt Fan like # FV807350.
He stated that the motor on the powered lid is designed to stop only when it meets resistance, meaning that it will not stop until the fan is fully open or closed. Because of this, the remote (or other device) is not able to stop the lid when it is only halfway open. view full answer...
The Firestone # F2299 Ride-Rite Air Helper Spring kit is the correct fit for your 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. As long as you keep at least the 5 psi minimum air pressure in the system, you'll get full articulation out of your suspension and the air bags will not be damaged.
You might also consider an on-board compressor system like # F2219. A compressor system would allow you to fine tune the suspension according to the load your carrying or the condition of the terrain while you're on the... view full answer...
Per the instructions, the 3200 Andersen Manufacturing Ultimate 5th-Wheel Connection # AM3200 should be installed with the ball closest to the tailgate on a short bed. The ball should be installed closest to the cab of the truck when used with a standard or long bed truck.
You will need to take a few measurements to determine which way to install the kingpin adapter. First measure from inside the bed-side rail to the center of the 5th wheel ball. Also measure from inside the tailgate to... view full answer...
I cannot be sure as to what the plug you have found is for but I can assure you it is not for a brake controller. The brake controller plug (if equipped) for a 2008 Dodge Ram is rectangular with four pins like the photo I have attached for you, there are no exceptions. If you just randomly look under the dash of your Ram, there are going to be several unused connectors. That is why it is important to look in the correct place which can be seen at the 0:50 mark in the attached video. This... view full answer...
For the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing Gooseneck Hitch Ball # C67DR, you will want to use a high quality molybdenum-based grease. You will want to grease prior to initial use and once every 3 months or 3,000 miles. view full answer...
I believe you're talking about the black module box that comes with the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56331 for your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan. If that's what you're wanting to replace then you'll need a whole new kit as Curt hasn't built out their module boxes to just be swapped out like that.
You could potentially cut the wiring on the new kit and splice everything to the new box but that's creating more potentially for failures so I recommend just replacing the entire unit and... view full answer...
Thank you for purchasing the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System, part # HM50002.
This wired camera system's monitor does not have a scrolling feature to let you shift the grid lines but you can make vertical adjustments to the camera itself (and also to the two backup sensors on either side of it) to get the best degree of visual alignment and object detection as you back up. The linked image from the owner's manual shows the adjustment guidelines for the sensors.

The Curt hitch # 13364 that you referenced is a confirmed fit on your 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan and it appears on the linked page that displays all hitches made for your GC. These available hitches include two sizes, both the Class II 1-1/4-inch type like # 13364 and the Class III 2-inch like # e98854.
Currently (December 2018) for their hitch # 13364 Curt specifies 48-ft-lbs of torque for the 10mm fasteners and 86-ft-lbs for the 12mm fasteners. This could potentially change if they ever... view full answer...
The P2 brake controller # 90885 goes into a power saving mode after about 15 minutes of inactivity. While in power saving mode it draws only a few milliamps of power and at that rate the vehicle would have to sit for months for it to drain the battery.
If the brake controller does not go into power saving mode then it is sensing something such as a short and could stay on all the time. The most likely culprit to cause this is corrosion in or on the trailer connector. view full answer...
Yes it is the same for your 2003 Dodge Ram, its the same for all Dodge trucks from 1995 to present. I attached an FAQ that details everything. view full answer...
We have not had a vehicle here to allow us to produce an installation video for this particular wiring harness, Curt # C56330, in the 2013 Dodge Journey. However, since this is a plug-in harness its installation will be quite similar to that of many other comparable products from Curt and other brands. Please note that this harness works only with vehicles that have LED-type tail lights. It will not work with vehicles that have incandescent lights.
Installation requires temporary removal... view full answer...
It is correct that Dodge made changes to the vehicle wiring for brake controllers in their 2013 model year Dodge Ram 1500 Pickup. The changes relate to the use of a new multiplex wiring system. I have linked an article that explains this change.
Although the under-dash connection port appears identical to earlier model years the assignment of the functions on the various wires has changed. The terminal that used to be the stop light signal, now has battery voltage whenever the ignition... view full answer...
If you click the provided link, you can see the installation instructions. The instructions specific to your 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 begin on sheet 13, and measurements are shown.
The rearmost bed rail would be installed so its back edge is 32-7/16 inches forward of the rear edge of the truck bed, and the hitch itself would be used to place the front rail. When the hitch is installed, the king pin center will sit about 2 inches forward of the rear axle centerline.
You'd need a 3/16, a 17/32... view full answer...
The etrailer # ETBC7 electric brake controller installation kit is a hard-wired item that will install in essentially the same way in any vehicle. We do not have an install video for a 2012 Dodge Journey but we do have one for a 2014 Grand Caravan and I linked this for you. The installation process will be very similar overall. Certain specific details about the vehicles may differ but the essential steps will be the same. An installation article is also linked for you. view full answer...
I have a solution for you so that you can tow both a fifth wheel trailer and a gooseneck hitch trailer, but you will not be able to have a gooseneck and a fifth wheel rail kit installed in your truck at the same time.
You would need to remove the gooseneck hitch and then install the rail kit part # DM8552015-71 so that you can use the hitch part # DM6076P-UL-21K and then when you need to tow a gooseneck trailer you would need the # DM5996. view full answer...

Hopkins does not offer a universal plug for the Agility Brake Controller. Your best bet would be to order the controller and harness combination you referenced, and cut off the vehicle end of the plug as you mentioned.
The bare leads on the end of the harness would then be hardwired into the vehicle. We offer a Hardwired Brake Controller Install Kit, part # ETBC7 for a 7-way trailer connector, or # ETBC6 for a 6-way. The install kit provides the adapter to convert a 4-pole connector to... view full answer...
Sounds like your clearance light is a two function light with two brightness intensities and uses a ground wire whereas your old light grounds through the mounting hardware and is a single brightness intensity setup.
So your new light most likely has a white, red, and black wire. The white will be ground and the other two will be different brightnesses. You'll want to test the wires with a 12 volt power source from like a car battery to decide which circuit you want to use for the running... view full answer...
