Does your trailer have brakes? If it does, you'll need a brake controller to actuate them.
You'll first need a functional 4 pole which would be provided by installing part # 119250KIT. I've linked you to an install video showing how this is done.
If your trailer doesn't have brakes, the only other thing you'd need is the # 37185 adapter. Plug the adapter into the 4-pole, ground the white wire to the vehicle frame, and you'll be good to go.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e88KR which is a fit for a 2017 Audi Q7 has a hidden design which means there isn't a bulky cross tube that hangs below the bumper. The adverse side effect of this however is that there also isn't any easy trailer connector mounting bracket solution because of the hidden design. I spoke with our contact at Tekonsha and he informed that the technical bulletin you are referring to is still valid. To install the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 into your 2012 Audi Q7, you will need to obtain a 12 volt normally open relay at a local Audi dealer.

It's possible that with the Curt hitch part # C13277 installed on your 2019 Audi Q7 you'd have limited access to the hands free liftgate function of your vehicle. You'd be limited to kicking to either side of the hitch opening.
