Since you said that your hitch, drawbar, and 7-Way connector were all factory installed the best scenario would be if there was some wiring under the driver's side dash of your 2017 Audi Q7 that you simply splice the 4 wires of the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 to. If this is the case, you will simply splice the following colors to the correct functions:
White - Ground
Black - 12V Power
Red - COLD Side of Stop Light Switch (only gets hot when brake is pressed)
Blue - Brake Controller Signal Sent to 7-Way
To make sure that you are connecting the wires to the correct functions you can use a Circuit Tester # PTW2993.
If the 7-Way on your Q7 does not have wiring run for the 12V power and brake controller (1 o'clock and 5 o'clock pins) then you will want to install the Wiring Kit # 5506. I have attached a video of this kit being installed on a 2011 Honda Odyssey that you can reference.
If, by chance, the only wiring that needs to be connected to your 7-Way is the one for the brake controller then you will want to use the Curt Universal Wiring Kit for Trailer Brake Controllers # C51500 which has everything that you will need. I have attached a link to one of our help articles which goes into detail about this wiring.
Without the wiring under the dash, you will need to make sure to connect your ground (White wire) to a clean metal surface and the red wire to the COLD side of your stop light switch. This will be the wire that only gets hot when the brake pedal is pressed. You can use the tester # 3808 to find it.
Since finding the cold side of the stop light switch can sometimes prove to be a challenge, we have seen a lot of customers go with a different controller like the Curt Echo # C51180 instead. All you need for this application is to plug it into your vehicle-side 7-Way and then download the app for your Apple/Android smart device.
