The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT52GR is our only custom fit receiver which is confirmed to fit your 2023 Hyundai Kona EV. Our fit guide is confusing as it lists it to fit Electric and excluding Electric, N Line, and N models. This simply means it will only not fit on the N Line and N models. The receiver has a 2" opening allowing for a larger selection of hitch mounted accessories and ball mounts.
I recommend installing the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter # C59236... view full answer...
The hitch that we have available for your 2021 Hyundai Kona Electric is the Class 3 Draw Tite Hitch # DT52GR. It will work great with the # S64678 e-bike rack you mentioned. view full answer...
Unfortunately the tongue of your Yakima Two-Timer is different from your Yakima Hold-Up 2, so they cannot be interchanged. I have included pictures below that show the difference.
Your best option is two get the Yakima HoldUp EVO bike rack, part # Y02480. It is an 1 1/4" bike rack that can hold all sized bike tires. Then you would get a the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Adapter, part # C45770, This will reduce your 2" hitch receiver to an 1 1/4". It will allow you to put your rack on each... view full answer...
There is one trailer hitch receiver that will fit your 2022 Hyundai Kona Electric, which is from Draw-Tite:
- Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT52GR
I verified for you with the manufacturer that the # DT52GR will indeed fit the Electric version of your '22 Kona, so this is exactly what you will need to carry a bike rack.
Then you could add a bike rack such as the Thule Apex XT 2-Bike Rack # TH9024XT or Saris Bones 2-Bike Rack # SA882. view full answer...
The Draw Tite Hitch # DT52GR is a confirmed fit for the 2019 Hyundai Kona EV. The underbody panels and/or fascia will need to be temporarily lowered to install this. There may be some trimming required to replace them. view full answer...
I wasn't able to find any information on your Dexter hubs, however the Trailer Idler Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e48GR that you mention will work with a Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # L44649 and the Grease Seal # 58846.
So, as long as your Dexter 8-01A hubs have the same measurements, this should fit with no issues. view full answer...
I have an answer for you. Unfortunately, the Thule Roof-Rack Fit Kit for Traverse Foot Packs - 1218 THKIT1218 will not fit the 2021 and the 2022 models of the Hyundai Kona. I confirmed with Thule that, unfortunately, they do not make any parts for your 2022 Kona if your vehicle has a bare roof. However, with that being said, I recommend the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B. The Monkey Bars have one of the easiest installations of any crossbar system we have on etrailer. With the Monkey... view full answer...
I think maybe our fitguide is causing a bit of confusion, but the Draw Tite hitch part # DT52GR is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Hyundai Kona Electric SEL. This fits the electric and non electric models which the way our fitguide is configured causes confusion because the same hitch shows up more than once. Please feel free to ask anytime that it is not clear. view full answer...
I recommend Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11529 which is designed for the 2020 Hyundai Kona as long as it is not the all electric model. There is no drilling required for installation so it is a straight forward install. However, the hitch has Class I a 1-1/4" receiver tube so the bike rack must be compatible with Class I hitches and have a 1-1/4" shank. The tongue weight rating of the hitch is 200 lbs so you want to be sure not to exceed that with the Malone trailer.

Yes, the Curt hitch part # C11529 that you referenced does fit the front wheel drive and the all wheel drive versions of the 2022 Hyundai Kona. view full answer...
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C11529 is a confirmed fit for the 2022 Hyundai Kona. We have several reports of this hitch being installed on the 2022 without an issue, but it may be possible your hitch is slightly bent. One thing that is consistently said is that there isn't a lot of room and the hitch is a tight fit. Since your holes align for installation and it would only be off by a slight margin, you should be able to flex it into place while it is attached to the vehicle frame.

If the Baja Bug crossbars you have on your 2020 Hyundai Kona EV has 4-8 inches of overhang, you can use the hullavator. From where the foot meets your roof, measure from the outside of the foot to the end of the bar to get that measurement. Also, you will need at least 57 inches of crossbar space as well to fit two Thule Hullavators # TH898 on your roof.
If you're needing a new roof rack for this set up to work, you can use these 60 inch Thule Wingbar Evo crossbars # TH711520, the Evo... view full answer...
The Hitch Stair part # RHS2 does have ability to pull out further or slide back in due to its several hitch pins. So you can have it further out or closer to the vehicle by pulling the hitch pin and putting it back in using a different hole. view full answer...
It sounds like you're referring to the trailer hitches that are a confirmed fit on the 2020 Hyundai Kona and not the Kona EV, like the Curt # C11529. It's not so much about damaging the vehicle as it is that there are differences between the two models that make the hitches not fit on the EV models as it's my understanding that there are differences in the frames of the two vehicles that make the hitch for the regular models incompatible with the EV. As of right now there are currently... view full answer...
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT52GR does not require you to use a stabilizer strap, like part # 18050, when used with a bike rack like the Curt Trailer Hitch # C11529 does for your 2018 Hyundai Kona.
If you don't already have a bike rack then I recommend the Thule Camber 2 Bike Rack # TH912XTR because this bike rack can be used with either size receiver opening. If any of your bikes are a kid's bike or lacks a horizontal top tube, then you'll need to use an adapter... view full answer...
Safety chains dragging is a common issue and concern and we do offer a solution for this problem. You will want the Quick Links - 7/16" Diameter - Qty 2 item # C82931 to shorten your chains so they don't drag the ground. You want to make sure you don't shorten them too much and restrict your turning capacity. I can not give you a more accurate answer because there are so many variables. How long your chains are, how far back your chain hangers are, the elevation change you will be going... view full answer...
The trailer hitch options for a 2018 Hyundai Kona are all custom fits so there will be no need to measure or verify dimensions. The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C11529 is what I recommend and it's listed as a fit for all sub-models or trims. It features a bolt-on install with no drilling or welding required.
If for some reason you do need a specific dimension, please let me know what that is but we don't have full dimensional drawings for any of our hitches nor can these be released... view full answer...
Draw-Tite confirms that their Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # DT52GR is a fit for the 2021 Hyundai Kona EV. There aren't any permanent modifications required, but there is an underbody panel and fascia that will need to be temporarily removed in order to install the hitch.
