Is There a Trailer Hitch Available for the 2020 Hyundai Kona EV
Question:
Both the rack recommender for our Kona EV specifically mention excluding EVinch when you look up if it will fit a Hyundai Kona. Will they still work without trashing the vehicle?

It sounds like you're referring to the trailer hitches that are a confirmed fit on the 2020 Hyundai Kona and not the Kona EV, like the Curt # C11529. It's not so much about damaging the vehicle as it is that there are differences between the two models that make the hitches not fit on the EV models as it's my understanding that there are differences in the frames of the two vehicles that make the hitch for the regular models incompatible with the EV. As of right now there are currently no hitches available to fit the Kona EV models.
If you're in search of a hitch so that you can carry bikes, I recommend using the Yakima Fullback 2 # Y02634 which is a trunk mounted bike rack that will work well on your 2020 Hyundai Kona EV. The Fullback 2's adjustable arms have SuperCush anti-sway cradles with ZipStrip straps for easy bike loading and it comes with integrated locks to secure both the bikes and the rack.
