In the answer you are referring to it states that Curt trailer hitch # C11085 fits the TSX Sport Wagon, not the sedan. It goes on to say that the correct hitch for the sedan is # C11496. This is all still true for your 2012.
Since you have a 2012 sedan you will need hitch # C11496. There isn't any visible fascia that needs to be trimmed but underneath the vehicle there is a heat shield and trim panel that would have to be modified or trimmed for hitch installation.

Since you will be using your hitch for a bike rack you will NOT need to purchase a draw bar (also called a ball mount) since this is needed only for towing.
