I do have a solution, but nobody makes a custom fit hitch with a 2" receiver for your 1997 Pontiac Bonneville. Also, I would not recommend cutting the receiver off the Curt hitch to weld on a 2" receiver like the # 325-GH-002. An adapter also wouldn't work since it would cut your towing capacity by 50%.

I looked into the tail light harness that you said you had installed on your 1995 Pontiac Bonneville and since it draws the power from the tail light circuits I believe that is why your tail lights are hyper-flashing.

The only wiring harness we carry for the 1999 Pontiac Bonneville is the Upgraded Circuit Protected Taillight Converter Hardwire Kit, # 119175KIT. A T-one style connector is not available.

The trailer wiring harnesses for the 1998 Pontiac Bonneville are all hardwire designs that require splicing into the tail light wiring for installation. The one exception that does not require splicing is ZCI harness # 119250KIT.
