Troubleshooting a Hyperflashing Trailer Wiring Harness on a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville
Question:
I had a modual for my trailer.The turning signals flash rapidly.I did get another flasher,but it does the same thing the # modual they put in is 14486 like I said,this is for a 1995 ponatic bonneville I took the car and trailer back today and he spent two hours trying to fix the problem.He even try it on one of there other trailers,same thing if you push the brake,the flash seems normal so,can you help? John

I looked into the tail light harness that you said you had installed on your 1995 Pontiac Bonneville and since it draws the power from the tail light circuits I believe that is why your tail lights are hyper-flashing.
What I think would fix the problem would be to install a powered unit that draws amperage from the vehicle battery and only uses the tail light circuits as signal wires. For that I would recommend you get a Curt Wiring Kit # C59496. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product for you to check out also.
