Trailer Wiring Harness for a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville
Question:
Is there a specific wiring hook up for the 1998 Pontiac Bonneville? I already have the hitch.

The trailer wiring harnesses for the 1998 Pontiac Bonneville are all hardwire designs that require splicing into the tail light wiring for installation. The one exception that does not require splicing is ZCI harness # 119250KIT. This is still a hardwire kit but instead of splicing into the wires the ZCI harness has clamps that go around the vehicle tail light wires and sense the electricity passing through them.
If you want just a regular hardwire harness you can use # HM48925.
For towing I also recommend ball mount kit # 36061 which includes a pin and clip. For a 1-7/8 inch diameter ball use # 19257. And for a 2 inch ball use # 19258.
