The hitch you have, Draw-Tite part # 24807 is a Class 1 hitch. There are two different classes of 1-1/4 inch hitches, Class 1 and 2. Class 2 drawbars and bike racks will not fit Class 1 hitches. Class 1 hitches have a lower rating than Class 2 and to prevent people from accidentally exceeding capacities the manufacturers make it so that heavier Class 2 accessories are too long to be used in Class 1 hitches. I think that you'll have enough hatch clearance with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE 4 Bike Platform Rack # HR1400Z installed on your 2018 Subaru Forester, but since we haven't actually tested it out I honestly have no way to verify this for sure. I can say that typically the clearance boils down to the length of the handlebars so if your bikes have standard handlebar length I think you'll be okay since the hatch on a Forester is a little smaller.
