Since your 2008 Porsche Cayenne needs its trailer wiring harness hardwired, there are limited options for harnesses. That said, the onlyl option available for your vehicle is going to be one from Tekonsha:
- ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness w/ 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector and Installation Kit # 119250KIT. view full answer...
Interesting question! My tech contact at Custer said their LED Strobe Driver # STR-QRLY should work just fine wired in upstream of the existing load resistors like # DI34ZR. So the wiring sequence would be strobe-resistor-LED. view full answer...
I checked both of the trailer hitches that fit your 2016 Porsche Cayenne, the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch # 75950 and Curt Trailer Hitch # C13116 and neither of them is rated for use with a weight distribution system. Oftentimes a trailer hitch will have its capacity upgraded when using weight distribution but that is not the case here.
Both of these hitches are rated for 7,500 lbs towing and 750 lbs of tongue weight, though you are limited to the capacity of your towing set up's lowest-rated... view full answer...
The Thule Helium Pro # TH9042PRO is compatible with both 1-1/4" and 2" trailer hitch receivers so it will fit the hitch receiver on your 2018 Porsche Cayenne. To ensure there is enough bumper clearance you will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole out to the end of your bumper. If this is less than 10.8" then this bike rack will work just fine.
We do have the Draw-Tite # 75950 and the Curt # C13116 2" trailer hitches that fit your 2018 Cayenne but we haven't installed... view full answer...
to add a brake controller to your 2015 Porsche Macan, if you do not have them already, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # C13136 and the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness Item # 119250KIT. This wiring harness does not require splicing into factory wiring. I have include a link to a video on a 2017 Porsche Cayenne to give you an idea of how it installs. The color of the wires and routing it may be a little different for your vehicle.
In order to use a brake controller... view full answer...
Yes, you are going to need to get the additional wiring to install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR in your 2016 Porsche Cayenne.
This harness, which you can read about in the linked help article describing what you need to install a brake controller in a 2005-current Volkswagen Touareg or Porsche Cayenne, will require you to obtain parts from a VW dealer.
As per the tech bulletin, "You will need the following parts (pictured above) that are available from... view full answer...
The Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716 will allow you to connect to the 7-way on your 2011 Porsche Cayenne and connect to your trailer with a 4-way flat connector. Rhino-Rack hasn't had an opportunity to test fit their SRB Legs # RRSX026 on the flush mount rails of a 2021 Porsche Macan as of yet (November 2021) so while I can't confirm that fitment I can say that we have some other roof rack options that will fit. Out of the available options I recommend going with the Thule WingBar Evo system:
47" WingBar Evo Crossbars - Black # TH711220 or Silver # TH711200
Rapid Podium Feet - # TH460R
Fit Kit - # THKIT4050

I have linked our technical bulletin below you can reference which will help explain the installation of the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller # RED44FR on your 2014 Porsche Cayenne. The issue without the additional components(relay) is the brake controller will pulse when the brake pedal is pressed rather than applying the correct power feed.
If you still need any information about this after reading the bulletin please let me know. view full answer...
Yes, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13116 has been tested and is a confirmed fit for your 2018 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver tube opening. It is made in the U.S.A. and comes with a lifetime warranty.
The installation of this hitch is also very straightforward. The rear bumper will need to be temporarily removed for installation but there will not be any drilling required. This makes for a very concealed look as you can see in the attached... view full answer...
The Thule OutWay 2-Bike Rack part # TH45JV is a confirmed fit for your 2016 Porsche Cayenne. I checked with all of our manufacturers, and there is a single option for a trunk mounted bike rack that fits your 2018 Porsche Macan, which is a rack from Yakima:
- Yakima HangOut 2-Bike Rack # Y02637
This is the rack you'll need for your '18 Porsche Macan, and it has a 30 lb per-bike capacity, so just be sure both of your bikes weigh 30 lbs or less. If you want to add security measures you can lock your bikes to the rack with Cable Lock # e98891, and you can secure the rack to your... view full answer...
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH59ZR does not have a towing capacity because it is not capable of towing without using the Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount item # 391CONVA7. The two parts combined have a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 lbs.
I looked online and it looks like your 2018 Porsche Panamera has a towing capacity of at least 4,400 lbs depending on which engine and model you have. You should be good to tow a 2,218 lbs trailer but you will want to verify with a dealership... view full answer...
Installing the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH84FR on your 2018 Porsche Macan will require removal of the rear fascia. Depending on your skill/comfort level this will determine on how easy of an installation you will have. For a DIY installation you would likely be looking at closer to a 4 hour install time. I have linked the installation instructions... view full answer...

I went out to the warehouse and found that the Lug Nut Protector Plate # 491LNP did fit the claw of the Stallion Trailer Wheel Lock # 288-02020 but I am not sure if it fit far enough for a wheel. The claws on the Stallion lock have a wedge shape whereas the The CLUB Tire Claw XL # WI491, that the plate is designed to fit, has straight claws.
I recommend using the plate on the CLUB Tire Claw XL as opposed to the Stallion Wheel Lock because of this. They actually come together as part #... view full answer...

The Autowbrake Electric Brake Controller part # 3430001 is an excellent option for a 2016 Porsche Cayenne. In regards to parts needed, there would be no additional components for the Cayenne assuming it did in fact come with a factory tow package. If you take a look at the rear of the vehicle you should see a round trailer connector with seven pins inside which would indicate you do indeed have the factory tow package.
In regards to the trailer, you would simply use ring terminals if... view full answer...
