- We just recently confirmed with Curt that their 2-inch Class III hitch # C13315 will indeed fit the mid-year version of the 2016 Mazda CX-5. The noted fit exclusion was temporary, until Curt engineers could get their hands on the 2016.5 to test fit this hitch.
If you also need a 4-pole wiring harness you can use Curt kit # C56310. This is illustrated in the linked review video and the linked article will assist your installation.

This kit comes with inner bearing L68149 and outer bearing L44649 plus has a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 inches. You will need to verify that with what you currently have to make sure this kit would be compatible.
Dacromet resists corrosion much more than paint or E-coat.
