2016.5 Mazda CX-5 Mid-Year Trailer Hitch Recommendation

I am looking for a trailer hich for my 2016 Mazda CX5. It says there are two for this years CX5, pre2016 1/2 and later 2016. How can I tell which one I need?

That is a great question and thankfully easily answered. Mazda increased the level of standard equipment offered and labeled the upgraded vehicles as 2016.5 models. This was not a platform change, simply onboard equipment; the trailer hitches are the same for each. Our fit guide matches the vehicle manufacturers identification but if you look at the actual item listed it is the same for "prior to..." and "mid-year model".

I recommend the Curt # C13315, this hitch is a confirmed to fit to your 2016 Mazda CX-5 and has a 600 lb. max tongue weight rating with a 4,000-pound max gross trailer weight rating.
