  • Head of Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System Hitting Trailer Frame with Washers Installed
  • It sounds like you likely just need to remove a washer or two from the head of your Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System # HT32218. Installing all 4 washers is a good starting point for most trailers but many setups will require you to use less in order to prevent the types of issues you are having. Try just removing one of the washers first to see if this loosens up the spring bars enough for normal operation and backs the head off so that it doesn't come into contact with the...

  • Will Brake Controller Show Connected with Pollak 7-Way to RV Socket LED Circuit Tester
  • In regards to the Pollak 7-Way to RV Socket LED Circuit Tester part # PK12741, the brake controller may or may not read connected. This will vary from controller to controller but you should still be able to apply the override and see the light illuminate on the tester.

  • Can I use Curt Wireless Brake Controller on RV with 29 Foot Range?
  • The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 has a range of 50 feet although this does depend on how well your phone receives bluetooth signals. We tested this with the usual newer mobile devices and found no issues with it at that range. Now, if you do lose connection, the controller will still work and operate based on the settings given at the last connection. You just won't have the panic/emergency brake override button until your mobile phone reconnects. With the distance...

  • Is Blue Ox SwayPro Adjusted Properly with 1 inch Height Difference on a 2018 Chevy Silverado
  • Since your trailer height and the height of your 2018 Chevy Silverado are within an inch of the original height it sounds like you have the Blue Ox SwayPro # BXW1503 installed correctly. If you want to try to level it out even more then you can do some slight adjustments but being that close to level you should be just fine!

  • Where to Look for Brake Controller Wiring Harness on Class C Motorhome
  • Usually on motorhomes the wiring to connect the brake controller can be found up under the dash near the steering column, or under the driver's seat. Since you're torn the dash apart I would try looking under the seat. Jayco also might be able to confirm the location if you reach out to them with your VIN. If you don't already have a brake controller then I recommend checking out the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 as it is one of the best controllers we have due to how easy it is to set up...

  • How to Adjust 12" x 2" Drum Brakes
  • To initially adjust 12" x 2" brakes like part # AKEBRK-7-SA you'll need a brake adjustment tool # W80630. At the back of the assembly there are 2 rubber plugs that you remove and then use the tool to adjust the strength. If you have self-adjusting brakes like the part mentioned above then you should have to do this at the start of the life of the brakes but if you have regular brakes without the self-adjusting feature then you'll have to do this every time the brakes start to lose their...

  • Speed Rating of Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel
  • The speed rating of the Kenda 5.30-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" Galvanized Wheel part # AM30790 is 65 mph. That's pretty much the max for a bias ply tire this size but if you switch to a radial like the Taskmaster 5.30R12 Radial Trailer Tire part # TT53012C you can get up to 81 mph. You will have to add the wheel separate though, it's the Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel part # AM20124.

  • Installing Lippert Entry Assist Handle Rail Install that Won't Interfere with Cabinets on Interior
  • If you wanted to pull out the pins of the Lippert Entry Assist Handrail part # LC799640 to remove the handle when not in use you certainly could but a better solution might be to test fit the height setting where you install the handle and see if you could mount it in a way that would allow for the clearance you need. Check out the install video for this for you to check out and see how it installs.

  • Will Adco Storage Skirt for 5th Wheel RV Interfere With Any Wires
  • Your concern makes sense, but you can install the Adco Storage Skirt for 5th Wheel RV # 290-3502 on your Jayco North Point 377MBH without worrying about screwing into wires. It screws in at the very bottom of your overhang where no wires will be. Adhesive snaps may work but I can't guarantee it so I recommend sticking with the screws, which I know will work perfectly.

  • Are Longer Shackle Straps Needed When Using Equa-Flex Equalizer LC279687 To Replace 6-1/6 Equalizer
  • The Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279687 measures 5-1/2" between the lower two most bolt holes. If you will be using this to replace an equalizer which measures 6-1/6" between the lower two most bolt holes you can and I do recommend installing longer shackle straps in order to offset the difference. If the existing shackle straps are 2-1/4" then I recommend a 2-5/8" part # 115052. I have attached an install/review video on the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers as well.

  • How Does the Lippert Components Center Point Suspension Upgrade Install on a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle?
  • Yes. The Lippert Components Center Point Suspension Upgrade # LC1565391 bolts onto the hangers on your existing suspension system and will act as an air cushioned replacement to your current stock equalizers. Since your 5th wheel trailer is relatively new, your leaf springs should still be in fairly good condition, so it's unlikely that you'll need to replace those. You may want to consider adding a compressor system like the AirLift WirelessONE # AL25980 which will allow you to use a...

  • Determining Torque Specs for Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK22-RSSA
  • I have attached the complete installation instructions for the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer # RM-RBK22-RSSA that you referenced. The torque specs for the included hardware can be found on page 2 of the instructions. We don't typically post these numbers on our site simply because they are always subject to change from the manufacturer. To determine the correct torque specs when tightening factory bolts for the chassis/frame brackets, you will actually need to contact the RV's...

  • How to Install the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack Part # LC285318 on Parallel Batteries
  • When installing the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack part # LC285318 on a trailer with dual batteries that are wired in parallel I would err on the safe side and attach the red power wire of the jack to the last battery as you can see in the attached photo. It would more than likely not matter but I do recommend the last battery.

  • Power Connection for etrailer Electric Tongue Jack EJ-3527-BBX
  • The etrailer electric tongue jack # EJ-3527-BBX has a pre-wired 7-way plug like part # H20046 that saves you the hassle of hard-wiring the jack to its power source. It can receive its 12V operating power either from your tow vehicle's 7-way socket which uses 12V power from the vehicle battery, or it can be powered from a secondary 7-way socket you could install on your trailer, along with a trailer-mounted battery. You could use 7-way part # HM48480, which includes a mounting bracket...

  • Can Trailer Scissor Jacks Be Installed on Front of Jayco Travel Trailer
  • In regards to trailer scissor jacks like Leveling Scissor Jack # JSC-24-IND, these simply need to be bolted to the frame either at the front or the rear. I don't have installation advice on these for any one specific trailer but so long as you don't have anything else on the frame that would be in the way of these jack there should be no issues with mounting. I have attached a review video for you which goes over the installation in more detail.

  • Can Driver's Side Taillight Assembly Be Installed on Passenger Side of Trailer
  • You could certainly reverse the position of the lamps by installing the # 328-003-81LBM1 lamp on the passenger side and the # 328-003-81BM1 lamp on the driver's side. Both lamps wire the same way, the white wire is the ground connection, the red is the turn signal/brake lamp and the black is the running lamp circuit. Reversing the lamps will have no impact on how they function.

  • Bluetooth Operation of iRV Digital Receiver
  • The iRV Digital In-Wall Receiver - Bluetooth - Multi Zone # 292-101079 has the ability to connect with your phone and receive the Bluetooth signal. It does not send a Bluetooth Signal, so it won't connect with your Bluetooth speaker for outside use (just like your phone's speaker won't be able to be used as the receiver of that signal). The iRV receiver is multi-zone so you can set up a zone for outdoor speakers if you desire which is common with many RVs.

The wires should be as follows White - Ground Red - 12V Constant Power Red/White - Brake Signal Blue(2) - Brake Controller Output So the wires on the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller # 90195 will connect as follows if the wiring matches your Seneca. • Flat Towing With a 2021 Jayco Precept Motorhome
  • Since you'll be flat towing a vehicle instead of just towing a trailer with your 2021 Jayco Precept Motorhome you will need a supplemental braking system and not a standard trailer brake controller. Trailer brake controllers like the Tekonsha P3 # 90195 are designed to activate the brakes on a trailer directly while supplemental braking systems will push down on the brake pedal of your vehicle to activate the brakes. I recommend the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/...
