How Does the Lippert Components Center Point Suspension Upgrade Install on a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle?
Question:
I have a 2017 Jayco Pinnacle 36FBTS 5th Wheel, tandem axel with the Moride System. Will this LC1565391 system bolt on to my trailer? Should I consider installing new leaf springs as well?

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yes. The Lippert Components Center Point Suspension Upgrade # LC1565391 bolts onto the hangers on your existing suspension system and will act as an air cushioned replacement to your current stock equalizers. Since your 5th wheel trailer is relatively new, your leaf springs should still be in fairly good condition, so it's unlikely that you'll need to replace those.
You may want to consider adding a compressor system like the AirLift WirelessONE # AL25980 which will allow you to use a remote to change the compression on the springs as needed and give you a true "air ride" suspension.
If you do decide that you want to go ahead and change out your leaf springs during this process and you can let me know the capacity of your axle and the length of the springs from the center of one eye to the center of the other eye, I can help you determine which springs will work best as a replacement.
