If there is no corrosion or debris you need to check on the main ground on the tongue of your trailer and make sure that it is connected properly. The clearance lights come on when the running lights come on, and since that is when all the lights are trying to come on, a bad ground could cause some not to work. I have a solution for you, and the issue you'll encounter when you start using hitch extensions is that the further the weight gets away from the hitch, it reduces the tongue weight of the hitch by 50% or more.
