The corroded wires will need to be replaced with new wire and that will help with the running light problem. But there could be corrosion elsewhere so you will need to inspect the trailer wiring from front to back and repair as needed. I did a little research on your Lindy II RV and it was manufactured by Skyline. There are a lot of different motorhomes that were built on the cut-away van chassis, so the pictures you sent were extremely helpful. With the RV coming out that far from the rear axle, a hitch for the regular van won't work. The bolt holes will line up. The fact that the 1988 Chevy Van was converted to a bus doesn't since it is still on a G30 chassis/frame. The issue that you have to be concerned about is how the body of the bus will affect the fit of a trailer hitch.

So based on the picture you submitted and the dimensions you listed it looks like you need a dump valve that will fit into the 3-1/2 inch pipe (3 inch spigot) and then need a 1-1/2 inch pipe ot fit over your other valve (1-1/2 inch hub).

Installation of the Tekonsha Prodigy should be fairly easy with the Winnebago having a 7 -way connector installed from the factory. There should be a wiring harness under the driver's side dash that will have at least 4 wires to connect to the brake controller. Curt front-mount hitch # C31016 is specified to fit certain GMC and Chevrolet vans and RV cutaways but not until the 1996 model year. I show no custom-fit front-mount hitches for this vehicle, only rear-mount hitches from Draw-Tite, # 75121 and # 41121 for vans without the step bumper.
I also checked directly with Curt and Draw-Tite and neither shows any front hitch fits. My Curt contact suggested a universal-fit RV-type hitch as a possible work-around.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13016 is only a confirmed fit for a 1978 - 1996 Chevrolet Van which excludes conversion models. The reason for this is because the conversion van models do not have the mounting hole for the bumper which is the front facing hole on the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver closest to the receiver tube opening. I spoke with Curt and all they were willing to release is the distance between the two holes left to right which is 40.873".

Draw-Tite trailer hitch # 41121 fits the full size 1995 Chevy vans like yours and does not require drilling or trimming for installation. In order to find the brake wire under your dash, you are going to need a hook probe circuit tester # PTW2993. You will need someone to engage your brakes on the Chevrolet Van as you use the circuit tester to see which wire is the brake wire. When you find the right wire, a light will glow on the circuit tester.
The wires that you will be testing is a bundle of wiring coming out of the back of the brake pedal stop light switch.
