I can tell you how to install a brake controller but the # 3015-P adapter will not work with the 2009 Escalade.
If your Escalade has a factory 7-way towing package, there will be a bundle of 4 wires taped underneath your dash: red, dark blue, light blue, and white. The part you actually need is # 7894.
