Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at the etrailer single axle steel trailer fender with the ribs for 15 inch wheels. It is for a quantity of one fender. Now this is a rounded fender that'll cover one tire on your single axle trailer. This fender acts as a splash guard, keeps your road debris from hitting other vehicles and also helps protect your trailer's cargo.I wanted to show you the outer edge on this fender, you can see right here, has a nice one inch curved radius slip, gives a real nice finished appearance. And on the inside lip, it actually has a 90 degree lip on the inner edge, and that allows it to mount flush to your enclosed trailer.
You can see this as a nice sturdy ribbed 16 gauge cold rolled steel construction. It is in a raw finish. And this can be primed and then painted to provide even more resistance to corrosion and to match your trailer's paint finish. Now, the four ribs we've mentioned on this, they are stiffener ribs. They are designed to help eliminate flexing of the fender. Now, this is a weld on or bolt on installation, it is not pre drilled. And the mounting brackets for a bolt on installation are sold separately.
This part is made in the USA. Few specs again, this is for a quantity of one fender, application is a single axle trailer with 15 inch diameter wheels. The weight on this one fender is about nine pounds. And the last thing I want to do is just give you some dimensions on this. If we do the overall length, which will be from that end all the way to this end, and it's going to be right at 32 inches long. The height on it from the very bottom to the very top is right at 16 inches tall.
And then the width on this, we turn it this way, and the width is going to measure right at 10 and three quarter inches wide. But that should do it for the review on this etrailer single axle steel trailer fender with the ribs, for 15 inch wheels, for a quantity of one fender.

I made and welded on my own inner fender out of 16ga material and 11ga floor plate for steps/gussets.
Here’s what we did with the trailer fender. It made a nice addition to the custom spare tire mount I made for our son’s ‘72 GMC 3500.
Thanks,
Haven’t installed it yet

These Trailer Fenders are a quality product which are "rust free". It's hard to find an 8" rust free wheel fender on-line. All stainless steel fenders listed on line require you to paint them so they will not rust. This is because since they were stamped/pressed via large machine press at the manufacturing plant, using a flat sheet of stainless steel. When the sheet is pressed it's damaged and will rust.
Very well made. I added some more bar tacks to bond the backing plate to the fender. It probably would have been fine as is, but for three minutes of effort I know that the two won't separate. I built a T out of 1" tubular steel to mount it to the trailer and there is no flex, once I welded it all together. Arrived clean enough to paint (but I still wiped it down with isopropyl alchohol before painting).Nice heavy gauge fender.
I used these steel fenders to replace aluminum fenders on my utility trailer after one had fallen off along the road somewhere. Prior to installing these I painted them with Krylon Fusion gloss hammered metal spray paint, which has held up well.
Great looking and functioning fenders. Really thought I would never find fenders for a 1993 boat mate trailer that would fit but these fenders fit great. Sure made my trailer look better.
These fenders were to replace the rusting out fenders on my Four Winns boat trailer. They really spruced it up! The only "modification" I had to do was add an extra 3/8 nut on both sides between the fender and the trailer frame to make it fit. I used all new stainless steel fasteners.
