Expand your field of vision and reduce blind spots with these easy-to-install, slip-on towing mirrors. By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.
This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

I purchased the Longview Towing Mirror set as extending mirrors were not available for my vehicle. They where easy to install, stayed tight and adjusted, and looked like they were part of my factory mirrors. I highly recommend them.

I like the fit the only down side is that the screw that hols on the mirror is all plastic should be aluminum. Just a word of advice start the nut on the screw first them hook it on the mirror and tighten.

2013 Chevrolet Express Van
They fit my 2013 Chevy Express conversion van. Took a little more squeezing then I expected to get the clip bolt and nut to thread together. That bolt and nut are plastic. I expect over time they will either cross thread or simply wear out. Should have been a metal bolt and nut.

Really fit well,we have used towing coast to coast put 18,000 miles on the mirrors. Only suggestion is i added some velcro for less movement due to bumpy roads. I have bought a second set for another vehicle since was impressed.

Right side mirror will not maintain it's position. Rough road or closing door a couple times is enough to cause it to shift and require adjustment. Left side mirror is great.

2016 Chevrolet Express Van
I have universal extension mirrors, but they are noisy and difficult to install. I read reviews before getting these mirrors and was a bit concerned about installation. My answer to that is "read the instructions ". Although the mirrors don't say which side they are for as the instructions indicate. But if you put them on right, they are easy to install. We pulled our 36' camper on the interstate and the mirrors were silent! Visibility was good, we feel quite safe with these on our 2016 Chevrolet Express. Thanks.

We travel all the time and the mirrors stay on the van more than they are off. Still good visibility and quiet. Plastic bolts, just be careful and don’t over tighten them. If you don’t cross thread they work fine.

Thanks for sending in the picture as I can see where the issue lies. For the slide on mirrors to be a fit they would need to look like the mirrors that we have pictured in the product description on the product page. I am afraid to say that i do not have a set of towing mirrors that would work for your vehicle.

Mirrors vibrate quite a bit going down the road, making the image blurry and difficult to see. Also the plastic clamp and screw do not give me a lot of confidence in keeping the mirrors attached. I wonder when it will break, which means the mirror will immediately fly off the vehicle and likely be destroyed.

Fit was perfect, mounts snugly to existing mirrors. Provides enough of a sight line to see whats behind you. Beats spending $300 on oem replacement mirrors.

I had a little bit of a problem figuring right side up, and once I had that figured out discovered it took some strength and effort to get the clip over the mirror housing, but once they were on they work wonderfully! I can see all the way down both sides of my 37 foot camper. although the mirrors are adjustable, once they are set they stay set unless you accidently readjust them with your hands. last year I took them off between trips, but this year plan on leaving them on as I realized I can just barely get through my 9 foot wide garage door with them still on.

last July I was in an accident and lost the use of the passenger side towing mirror until after I quit travelling and could finally do the bodywork required for my van. At that time I got a replacement set, so now have a backup mirror for the drivers side. I definitely missed having that mirror when I was towing my camper, but find I also use it when not towing. Definitely a worthwhile purchase.

2012 Chevrolet Express Van

2008 Chevrolet Express Van
Purchased the LVT-1700 mirrors for my 2008 Express Van to haul our Travel Trailer. Great alternative to mounting large bracketed mirrors on our Daily driver. Easily installed and removed. 2013 GMC Savana Van
These mirrors are awesome. They fit perfectly and I can now see around my camper. I initially purchased some from [online store] and sent them back due to poor quality and fit. These mirrors look like they are part of the van and look great. They have no vibration problems and are easy to adjust. I did put two stainless steel screws on the back of them to deter theft in case somebody liked them as much as I do.

Have used these extensively for thousands of miles while towing and never had a problem. I was worried about the plastic screw becoming fatigued and failing, but no indication of that so far. I am careful about not over-tightening them. And once you have them snugly mounted to the mirror, a few adjustments over time keeps them that way. All-in-all, a perfect fit and a good choice for our 2022 Chevy Express 3500.

These mirrors are still on my van. I just leave them on. The mirrors NEVER come out of adjustment and when driving are very stable. Still going strong.

2004 Ram 3500
2004 Express 3500 Conversion YF7 build code factory build date 12-2003. These mirrors fit my 2004 3500 Extended Conversion. My Conversion YF7 Classic came with the exact mirrors shown on this site. Dealership said the factory could installed different mirrors depending on suppliers. Some where on this site it says they do not fit <2006 3500 Express. The only thing is the retention Jay Hook. It is plastic and as we know plastic become brittle for heat, cold and UV light. Only time will tell if they break.

- Longview Mirrors # LVT-1700 on 2020 Chevrolet Express Van - Bolts Too Short?I reached out to my contact at Longview Mirrors and he confirmed that the Longview # LVT-1700 mirrors were a confirmed fit for your van. He also mentioned that bolt in that kit is the longest that they use. He suggested getting the mirror most of the way on and pushing the bolt through the hole, then push the mirror the last tiny bit after putting the knob on. He indicated that it was OK if the bolt flexed/bent a little, as it would not break.
