Today we are going to take a look at the replacement solenoid for Curtis Snowplow.This is a 12 volt DC, 100 amp, intermittent duty solenoid.This is going to basically act as the switch between your vehicles battery and the motor on your snowplow. So, whenever this is activated it is just going to be a coil that either magnetizes to interrupt that flow or connect it.This is going to be a direct replacement for that solenoid, again on your Curtis Snowplow.As far as the dimension on this, if we look at the bottom there is going to be a little plate that this can attach to. It has got two mounting holes there. The dimensions for that bracket, it is going to be about 2 7/8th of an inch wide, from outside edge to outside edge.The mounting holes themselves are going to be about 2 1/8th of an inch apart. The dimensions of those holes are also going to be about 3/8th of an inch by a quarter of an inch. Just to give you an idea of the kind of hardware that you'll need to attach as it does not come with any hardware to attach it.
So, you will have to pick that up on your own, with some nuts and bolts or self-tapping screws wherever you need to mount this up.For our connections, it does come with the nut and lock washer on each of the three posts. So, you have the nut and lock washer for each of those to hold down your wires.Now, the overall height of this whenever it's mounted flat with that bracket to the top of the bolts, that is going to be about 3 3/4 of an inch tall. So, that lets you know how much space you need there. You always want to make sure that you are not going to have any metal that is going to come in contact with this because that could give you a false read or false operation of your solenoid.And then, as far as the width, again going from the outside edge of the bolt on one side to the outside of the other, that is going to be about 3 1/2 inches. The depth, going from the front of the solenoid to the back, that is going to be about 2 1/2 inches.Again, this is going to be that intermittent duty solenoid with 100 amps and it has those 90 degree mounted three posts.And, that is going to do for our look at the replacement solenoid for Curtis Snowplow..

Comparable to Curtis part number 1TBP61A.Had to replace the original solenoid for my curtis snow pro 3000 plow. I has originally ordered the part from Snow Pro via Amazon, but after waiting over a week with no confirmation, shipping info or response to my email inquiry, I cancelled my order. I then googled the part number and found a this solenoid for half the price of the other one. Within an hour of ordering it through etrailer I had an email confirming my order and provided me with a link to view it's shipping status. Once the product arrived I received a follow-up email from etrailer asking if it had arrived and if I was satisfied. Part is installed and the plow is working just in time for a new england winter. Only issue I had was the mounting bracket didn't line up with where I needed to mount it.
I needed a solenoid for my Curtis Sno Pro snowplow and could not find one locally. I went online and found etrailer.com that carried a solenoid comparable to original equipment. I ordered it, received it within a few days and installed it. The solenoid works perfectly, thank you for quick service.
Hard time finding selanoid for my Dr brush mower, this was exactly the same as the one that was on it originally. I had hit the other one when loading my mower on a trailer behind it but was having a hard time finding the correct one to replace it. So it's not just for plows.
