Quick-Disconnect Hose Connection

The quick-disconnect fitting on this hose hooks up to the female Model 250 port on a Sturgi-Stay T-fitting, an adapter mounted on a propane tank, or another quick-disconnect port in your RV's propane system. The quick-disconnect port on the other end accepts the male quick-disconnect plug on your appliance. Both hook up without the need for any tools. Simply snap the quick-disconnect fitting into the port and it will stay locked in until you release it. To remove the fitting, just pull back on the collar of the port to disengage the connection.

The parts look good enough. I have not had a chance to install them and test them yet.

The postal service took an annoyingly long time to deliver the parts, so if you have an opportunity to use another service, take it!

by:

I searched the internet and found a company that had just what i was looking for. Further searching, I found what i really needed. Ordering was easy and shipment was great. Will and have already passed the company link to others. Thank you for having what I was searching for and at a great price.

by:

This hose is exactly what I needed to connect my griddle to my RV propane tank. It works perfectly.

by:

Works perfect. I can now connect my Blackstone and camp stove designed for small propane bottles to the quick disconnect propane connection on my campers. The length is nice to get the Blackstone and stove away from the camper to prevent grease splatter.

by:

This hose is for stoves that do not have/need a regulator, ie low pressure stoves. As the quick connect fitting on the RV is downstream of the regulator so the gas is already at a low pressure. My stove has a regulator/control knob so it needs full pressure from the cylinder. I bought another adaptor hose that connects to the cylinder directly. This worked fine. Materials and construction are first rate.

by:

The hose did not work with a weber traveler grill. The pin on the grills regulator would not open the needle valve in the end of the hose

by:

A perfect connection from our RV propane port to our Webber Q grill!

by:

Works like a charm on my Rpod 179. Use it every time I camp since the Rpod came with a external gas port.

I got friends with big 32’+ rigs and they don’t have an external gas hookup at all. They bbq off our tank and grill.

by:

It did not work at all, I could not get any propane to come through it at all.

by:

Just what you need to simply supply propane from your RV low pressure connection to your stove or griddle designed to use disposable bottles. Make your life better with this flawless connection.

by:

Works as described. Delivery was quick.

by:

I ordered the wrong hose, but will keep just the same. Can use it to connect to trailer.

by:

Works great for my grille

by:

Perfect, and a lot cheaper than our RV sales/part dealer for our airstream.

by:

It works great everything I’ve gotten from you guys is been great. Keep up the good work.

by:

I was not aware that the review even went through. The hose is okay and fits but it is not what I needed. I have a regulator on my RV and the grill that it connects to has a regulator as well so it does not work correctly. I am sure that if I had a low-pressure grill, it would work fine but the Weber Traveler grill does not come with the correct hardware for a quick connect (regulated) propane feed.

We have come across this before. The two options that we recommend is to bypass your RVs regulator with a T-fitting and power the grill with high-pressure propane, or remove the regulator on the grill so that it can use low-pressure propane from your RV. We have a FAQ that gives more information on these two options.

by:

Rather than having to use the expensive throw away bottles to fuel my propane camping stove, the hose quickly plugs into my MB Sturgis valve installed between the existing RV propane tank and the existing propane regulator. Quick, easy and less expensive to operate. Highly recommend the upgrade!

Works as advertised providing a quick connection to additional propane tanks with minimal effort. Have and will continue to promote the product.

Another great experience buying at eTrailer.
Top
quality product at great prices. I will be back when I need more trailer parts or accessories.

by:

Outstanding product. I've used this over 30 times with our coleman roadtrip excursion grill. I no longer have to carry disposable cylinders for my grill. The only downside is the grill only operates on low flame which is not the fault of the product.

The product is still working fine after a full year.

by:

They didn't have exactly what I needed on the web site but when I called them they said they were able to get it. I got it and it was perfect. We got it yesterday and checked the connections and all is good to go. It was a 10 ft gas hose from the trailer to my portable BBQ. I am very happy with the service and would use etrailer again.

Worked out great.

by:

The gas hose is exactly as etrailer said it would be, a perfect match for our quick disconnect, and gas stove connection.

It will work once I have a low pressure stove for outside cooking, while we are traveling.

by:

I bought this propane hose to connect to a griddle that was made for disposable cylinders. We have a propane port on our 5th wheel that's on the awning side. Having that port, I needed a hose to plug in and to adapt to the larger threads of a disposable cylinder female thread on the griddle. The 100476-120-MBS fits the need perfectly. I wanted enough length to reach beyond the awning to a picnic table to cook without the smoke gathering under the awning. The 10' length is great and not easy to find at other suppliers. I can still remain under the awning if it is raining. Sorry, I don't have any pictures, the camper is covered up for the winter here in PA.
Looking forward to spring and using our cast iron griddle again!
This isn't the only purchase we've made at etrailer and won't be the last, nice people, good value and prompt delivery.

by:

Timely delivery, great product.

by: 07/31/2022

I learned a lot about high pressure low pressure LP gas.
This hose did not do what I expected since the quick disconnect line on the pop up was low pressure and BBQ needs high pressure. Can not run through two regulators.
Nice good quality hose though.

by:

Unfortunately the Sturgis rig would not work as we intended. Yes the rig hooked into our trailer propane line and yes the service end screwed into the griddle connection. Looked like a winner. However, the propane was reduced pressure at the tank and the griddle had its own pressure regulator, therefore, there was insufficient gas pressure to heat the griddle properly. It is not the fault of the Sturgis Rig that it did not work for our application.

  • Adapter Hose Needed To Connect A Weber Q1200 To A 2019 Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer
Based on the picture you provided you have a female quick disconnect fitting on your 2019 Jayco Jay Feather Travel Trailer. I'm assuming your Weber Q1200 portable grill most likely has a male 1 Inch-20 fitting so that it can connect to the smaller 1lb disposable LP tanks. If this is the case then you'll just need the MB Sturgis Propane Adapter Hose - Model 250 Quick-Disconnect x Disposable Cylinder Port - 10' # 100476-120-MBS.

  • Determining The Correct Adapter Hose For Connecting A GSI Stove To A Trailer
The compatibility of the GSI Outdoors Pinnacle Pro Camp Stove # GSI33RV is going to be determined by the connection point on your supply line. The regulator for this grill utilizes a 1"-20 female fitting, which are compatible with smaller throwaway propane bottles. Most likely the connection point on your trailer is a quick disconnect fitting so a hose like # 100476-120-MBS would allow you to connect to the supply line and the grill. We do have the parts you need in order to run your Coleman stove from your trailer's quick disconnect, but you will also need a t-fitting to go with the hose. The reason you mentioned the stove has its own regulator; but your trailer's quick disconnect is also regulated, and you can't double-regulate (go through two regulators).
