Michael: Hi, there. I'm Michael with eTrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at a propane adapter fitting. If you are needing to connect two different kinds of propane hoses, this is the sort of thing that you would need. This one specifically is going to connect a 3/8" male flare fitting to a 1/4" male fitting. This is the 3/8" NPT female flare fitting, and then this is the female 1/4" NPT fitting.Mostly likely, you've got a trunk hose or an extension hose that you're trying to run from your propane tank to your regulator on your RV or travel trailer.
You've got those hoses, but you need to connect them. This is going to be the piece that you need. Depending on what kind of application, what fittings you have, you do want to make sure to check the fittings on your hoses to make sure that they are going to work with this adapter. If not, we do have other adapters available here at eTrailer.com. We also have a lot of different hoses with different fittings. It might just be easier for you, instead of trying to hook those two hoses together, just get a longer hose.
Depending on your set-up, obviously it's your call. But we do want to make sure that you're getting the product you need that solves your problem, so you can get back to enjoying your time outdoors.Go ahead and take a look at our other options if you're shopping around. If you already know this is the part that you need, it is a brass construction. It's going to hold up well. You're not going to have to worry about rust or corrosion.
It should make those connections nice and tight, so that you can power up all those propane-powered appliances. That's going to complete our look at the propane adapter fitting. Thanks for watching.

Fitting lets you connect hoses in your RV's propane piping. 2-Way connector ensures gas flows at full capacity.Looked all over Houston - big box, hardware & plumbing stores and could not find one.
I wanted to convert my fire ring hose connection to a quick disconnect.
The connection on the fire ring is a 3/8” male flare.
The quick disconnect fitting is a 1/4” male NPT.
This fitting was exactly what I needed.
This is my second order from trailer and the first order last year was exactly the part I needed.

After several failed visits to the hardware and big box stores, I found exactly the fittings I was looking for at etrailer. Next time I'll shop here first.

worked just as I thought it would, very good deal. Thanks
Excellent product. It fix perfect!!!
You had the fitting I needed that was not available elsewhere. Your shipping cost were excessive for something that fits in a small envelope.
Exactly what I needed. Great company to get products from. Thank you
Perfect fit to go between my propane grill and the quick disconnect hose that goes to my camper's low pressure propane system.
Exactly what I was looking for 3/8 female flare to 1/4 mpt connector.
Worked perfectly
Exactly as expected
I went to two Ace Hardware stores and Home Depot in a vain attempt to find some combination of fittings to convert my Outland propane fire pit to low pressure propane quick connect for use with my travel trailer. Removing the hose & regulator supplied with the fire pit leaves a 3/8" male flare connection. The quick connect fitting has 1/4" Male NPT connection. Voila! This part is all that is needed to bridge the gap. Save yourself a trip and get one if you are making the same conversion.
This is exactly what you've been looking for! We have a 24" Outland Firebowl propane fire pit and a 28" Blackstone griddle. Take the regulator hose assembly off and this little gem screws right on there. On the other end use some thread sealer and attach your quick connect propane fitting. Check for leaks and that's it, you're done.
EXACTLY WHAT i NEEDED
Just the part I needed to complete my propane connection to quick connect. Order was filled and delivered promptly.
I was only able to find this fitting through you. Easy to find and perfect Always a pleasure doing business with you!
Worked great and a good price! etrailer was the only place I could locate this adapter
I ordered this gas part for my husband. Ordering was easy and payment via PayPal also easy. Delivery was slightly delayed but that was the fault of the carrier not the supplier.
I purchased this extension to use with my onboard propane tank to fuel a fire pit. We set up safely well away from the coach. Very pleased.
Hard to find fitting but etrailer pulled thru again.
