Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline. And today we're taking a look at the Goal Zero Lighthouse Micro Lantern and Charger, here at etrailer.com. So Goal Zero has a lot of different light options for your different adventures. You have the Lighthouse and this is the Lighthouse Micro, which is the compact version of those different options. So with this, you have a flashlight, you have a lantern, you even have a little bit of a battery pack here that you can use to charge your other devices in cases of emergency. The Lighthouse Micro fits in the palm of your hand and I have a small hand.
So this is three and five eighth inches tall, and then an inch and a half in diameter. That way you can store it inside your pocket, in your purse, in your glove box, in your camper. Pretty much wherever you need it to be. This works as a flashlight, a lantern, and a charger. So we'll go through those features one by one starting with the flashlight.
So when you press the button on top the first feature is the flashlight. So we have this penlight pretty much, where you have a focused beam coming out the end. With a focused beam of 150 lumens, honestly, it's not as bright as a dedicated flashlight like this one would be, with the addressability of the attack flashlight, but it works well in a pinch. Where this truly shines, in my opinion, is as a lantern. So we have a very bright beam here, you can set this in the middle of your campsite or have it hanging from your tent and you have an all around beam.
Press it again, and then you have a half lantern on high where only one side of the lantern is lit up. Great for if you just want it facing one way. And then press it again and it turns off. You can also change your brightness setting by holding the button and then the lights will dim. This can be done in the halfway point.
And you can stop it at the dimness you want. You have a pop out handle here, so just a thin metal handle. Great for if you need to hang it up from your tent pole or inside your camper. There is a light indicator on top just to show you how much charge you have. And with it being fully charged, if you have the lantern on high, this will last seven hours. And if you have the one side on low, it can last up to 170 hours, which is a lot. And to recharge it, just flip that bottom charge port out, you have an input and then the output. So use the input and just plug it right in. You also have an output USB port, and this is if you need to charge your phone in emergency, you can find it right over here. This has 2,600 mA, which means when you plug in your phone it can give you one full recharge. This is also ipx6 weatherproof. And what that means is if you're out camping, you're out hiking and you drop this in a puddle or in a pond, it's okay. It can be submersed for a short period of time and it can hold up to the heavy rain. So all-in-all, the Lighthouse Micro is a lot of versatility in a tiny package. You have that lantern feature, you have that flashlight feature, you can even charge up your phone real quick. Now, just remember that it doesn't do those things a lot. You are limited to 150 lumens, but as an extra little tool in your backpack, in your car, or in your camper, this is a great option for that. But if you need more lumens or more light, maybe if that's gonna be your focus, definitely check out our tactical flashlight options. Since they are dedicated flashlights, they will offer more light but not as many features as the Lighthouse Micro. So this right here was a review of the Goal Zero Lighthouse Micro, here at etrailer.com. My name is Evangeline, and I hope you enjoy the journey..

After using this camping light for one year it is still a great product and going strong. Everything I have ever purchased through etrailer.com has been quality and long lasting. Great company and always quick delivery.
I haven't had it very long but I really like the light and might buy another
Only needed to use this once so far. Power went out in the middle of the day so I was able to put this in the bathroom for my family to still see with the door shut. Full bright is almost too bright so I only half to use half power when using it!
A bit smaller than I thought, but is a good thing. Going to use on the back of my slide in truck camper (I bought 2). Lights are plenty bright for application.
Full disclosure- haven’t actually used this in the field yet. But did unbox the light and tested it in a dark room of my house. It seemed very able to supply enough light for any camper or camping area. Very light weight so transport from one place to another should be a breeze. Can’t wait for my next outing.
Bought the Lanterns as a gift for our grandchildren for when they do their farm chores. Much easier to handle than a flashlight and great for camping out. The company was wonderful to deal with and kept in touch until they came in. We definitely recommend to all members of our family to use. See you again!
VERY GOOD!
This will be a favorite item at the campground this year. A novel idea and the light output is amazing.
This is a lantern I know I will use. It is very versatile and much brighter than other battery lanterns that are not this compact. I have gifted this item twice.
Most Excellent! Have 3 now..
just like it said nice
