Today we're going to be taking a look at the Universal Roller Brackets for Boat Trailers. These split panel brackets mount upright to a trailer's crossmember. They support a keel roller, or a spool roller, to help keep the boat moving while it's being loaded and to stabilize the keel. You do get both the right and left hand brackets that support a roller on your boat trailer. They'll fit any length roller that has a 5/8 inch diameter shaft. Really nice sturdy galvanized steel construction that's going to do a great job at resisting rust, and corrosion, and lasting a long time.
The units are going to feature the slotted mounting holes that allow you to adjust the position during installation. Again, it's going to fit a variety of lengths of rollers. It'll fit a 4 inch, 5 inch, 8 inch, 10 inch, 12 inch, and 18 inch long rollers. Just keep in mind that it's going to require a 5/8 inch diameter roller shaft. When it comes to the dimensions of the mounting slots, those are going to measure a half inch wide x 5 inches long. This area right here measures pretty close to 6 inches, maybe 6 1/8 x about 1 7/8 to 2 inches, going in that direction.
