Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this OptiMate lithium LFP select AC to DC smart battery charger, tester, and maintainer. Now this AC to DC smart charger will quickly either charge, test, or maintain your battery. So it's perfect for charging a car or motorcycle, racing vehicle, RV, or boat battery. Does using 10 step charging algorithm, which automatically save, charge, test, and maintain without overcharging.
It will analyze your battery condition to provide a customized charge for your battery. And it does test automatically and indicates if there's a battery problem and it'll adjust the voltage based on temperature. Right down here, it has this push button BMS wake up mode, which will safely wake the battery out of a sleep mode. And it also provides two types, different types of connections. The battery connection here, these battery clamps will just plug into the SAE connector right down here.
And then you can provide a quick easy way to connect to your battery. The other way over here is it uses the eyelets here. And this will give you a secure connection to your battery terminals. And on this one, they do use a 15 amp fuse inline to protect the electronics from potential short circuits. And it's the same way, it has the SAE connector that plug to the charger.
And it even has a nice waterproof seal and cap that'll help keep out any dirt or water. Now, this is a nice simple operation. Uses LED lights that'll indicate charging status. It's in a nice durable weatherproof case. Does include this wall mount here with the two mounting points at the bottom.
Two here up at the top that you can mount this to your wall. Does have the 6 foot AC supply lead right here, and a six foot charge lead with the SAE connector on the end. Specs on this, the application is 12 volt and 16 volt batteries from 2 to 120 amp hours. The battery types it supports is the LifePO4 which is the lithium iron phosphate batteries. Maximum charging amperage is 5 amps per bank. The cable length we mentioned on the battery clamps and on the eyelets is 20 inches.
