  • How to Trim 2015 Ram 1500 Plastic Bed Rail Cover to Make Space for Stake Pocket Anchor
The front stake pocket on your 2015 Ram 1500 is hidden under the plastic rail cap but there should be an outline or slight indentation in the plastic to show you where to make your cutout. I read some online comments from owners who said that slipping a plastic trim tool like those in # PT73HJ under the cap makes it easier to cut out the part that covers the stake pocket. You can use a utility knife or a small rotary tool if you have one.

  • Tool used to Remove the Rivets that Hold the Taillight Assembly on a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan
That handy-dandy tool you see in the videos is a trim panel tool. We have # PT73HJ as an option that you could use. I advise against using vice grips as it will tear up the pins. You could use a smaller claw hammer if available. A very small pry bar (crow bar) could work as well. I suppose you could wedge two spoons under it and pry it out that way. Depending on how tight they are you might bend the spoons. If you had a very flat wrench it might work the same as the trim panel tool.

  • Is an Extension Cable Needed to Install Hopkins Backup Camera on a Nissan Titan with a Crew Cab
The wiring harness that comes with the Hopkins backup camera # HM50002 is 19 feet, 7 inches long. Depending on how it is routed you may or may not need to extend that length for installation on your truck. There is a 5 foot extension cable, # HM3100504060, and a 25 foot cable, # HM3100504061. An extra 5 feet is probably all you would need if you needed any at all. the tool in question was likely a type of trim panel tool. We have a set that you could use, # PT73HJ, that includes various...

  • Removing Rear Trim Panels to Install Trailer Wiring on a 2014 Subaru Forester
Installation of Curt trailer wiring harness # C56040 is going to be similar to the 2 videos I have linked. In fact it should be just about identical. Once you see how it is done you will wonder why the dealer wants to charge such a price! I do recommend a trim panel remover tool, # PT73HJ, which does make things a lot easier.

  • How To Remove Cracked Sealant From An RV Skylight
Having firsthand experience with removing old sealant I can tell you without a doubt that it's a giant pain. You'll want to pick up some composite trim tools # PT73HJ to pry the sealant off of the roof membrane. You'll take the flat end of one of the tools and scrape towards the skylight being careful not to pull on the roof membrane and tear it. This will take a bunch of time and patience. I typically press up against the sealant and try to rock the tool side to side to help cut through...

  • Installing Trailer Wiring Harness on a 2014 Honda Odyssey Elite with HondaVac Vacuum
In order to install the trailer wiring harness # 118521 on your 2014 Honda Odyssey with the built-in vacuum you would have to remove the vacuum, 12 volt power plug, and subwoofer in order to then follow the installation instructions. A trim panel remover tool, # PT73HJ, would be helpful to get the panels loose.

  • How Does Trailer Wiring Harness 118518 Install on a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander
There are a couple of places that you will plug into when installing trailer wiring harness # 118518 on a 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander. The connection in the back is best accessed by removing the panel forward of the jack storage compartment like our installers show in the video I have linked for you to the right. The harness at the front of the vehicle is best accessed by moving the battery out of the way. This is also covered in the video. The panels in the back can also be temporarily...

  • Recommended Replacement Roof Vent For A 2000 Lance 1061 Truck Bed Camper
Based on the pictures you provided it looks like you have an older Ventline manual vent with a fan so the Ventline E-Z Lift Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan # V3094-601-00 you were looking at would just be the newest version and would make a great replacement if you're happy with a manual vent over a powered one. To replace your current vent you'll need to scrape off the old sealant first. I recommend using a composite tool like # PT73HJ and really taking your time so that you don't...

  • Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2016 Toyota Tundra with Factory 7-Way Connector
For your new 2016 Toyota Tundra with the factory 7-Way trailer connector I recommend the Tekonsha P2 brake controller # 90885. This is one of our most popular controllers because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable. You will also need wiring harness # 3031-P to plug the controller into the truck. To reach the mating factory connector, first locate the notch in the access panel in the center of the dash, near the driver's side. Using a trim panel puller, such as # PT73HJ, carefully...

  • What is the Trim Panel Tool Mentioned in the Instructions for 2016 Chevy Spark Trailer Hitch C11433
For trim panel removal tools we have a couple of options. You may have some other similar tool that could work, too.

The Roadmaster XL base plates # 920-1 are a fit for your 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon and the Stowmaster tow bar # RM-501. The Tow bar does fold up and store on the tow vehicle. There are no speed restrictions when the tow bar is folded up but it wouldn't take much just to remove the tow bar to avoid any unforeseen issues. The fasteners on your Outback appear to be push-in fasteners. There is a special tool you can use to make removing them easy, # PT73HJ. You will also need safety cables,...

Your 2016 Ford E-450 van chassis/RV will use brake controller wiring harness # 3034-P. Ford only makes this van chassis for the RV and emergency vehicle industries now but the 2016 chassis is the same as the 2014 model year which was the last year it was available to the general public. On the 2016 the factory plug is located behind the coin tray, above the radio, in the center console (see picture). Both of these kits come with mounting hardware and putty to form a tight seal to your trailer's roof, but you'll also want to use some self-leveling sealant # 34427034145-1 as well.
