Today we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Dutton Lainson swivel jack snap ring. This snap ring is gonna differ from your factory snap ring in that it's gonna have a gold zinc plated finish to help resist against rust and corrosion. To get it in place, it's the same way as your factory snap ring. Slide your jack into place. And to make it easier on ourselves, we're gonna be using a snap ring pliers. Makes it easy to spread out the ring and get it in place.
Push it into place and then release it. This replacement snap ring is going to fit your standard 2 5/16 swivel jacks. With your snap ring in place, you're ready to operate your jack as you will. With that being said, that's gonna do it for our look and installation of the Dutton Lainson snap ring.

The description of the dimensions could be more accurate. I was fixing my friend's trailer jack. I did not know what brand of jack he had. I ordered three different snap rings that were close in dimensions. Turns out, they are all exactly the same in dimensions:
