Michael: Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Demco solenoid kit. This is going to replace the factory installed solenoid kit on your trailer, and it is going to work with your disc brakes. This will work with the DA10 and DA91 actuators.Essentially, you're going to hook up your brake line to this mount here. It's going to allow you to bypass your brake line when you don't need to have the brakes applied like when you're going down hill or something. These wires will hook up and allow you to send that hydraulic fluid back into your housing area.
It's also going to come with a nice cover to protect your solenoid. These holes will line up there.I do want to give you just a couple of measurements to make sure this is going to work for your set up. Our mounting holes from center to center, right about 2" for both. In between these two farther ones, they're right at 3", again center to center. So if you're needing a replacement for your solenoid, I think this is going to do a good job for you and allow you to have greater control over those disc brakes.
