Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this DeeMaxx 18 inch long rubber hydraulic brake line. It has the 3/16 of an inch brass male inverted flares on both ends. Now, this is a rubber flexible brake line. This will act as part of the hydraulic brake system. It does require additional lines and fittings that we do sell separately.
Basically, this line here is used to connect the disc brake caliper to the main brake lines. As you can see, it's rubber. It's a flexible construction, so it's perfect for disc brake assemblies, fold away trailer tongues, and torsion axles. As we've mentioned on each end, they use a brass male 3/16 of an inch inverted flare fittings, makes a better seal than steel fittings because brass is a little more pliable. This will help prevent leaks, splits, and corrosion.
And this rubber hose does meet the DOT Department of Transportation and the SAE standards. Specs again, overall length from end to end is 18 inches. The inner diameter of the hose is 1/8 of an inch. We mentioned the flare fittings on each end is 3/16 of an inch male inverted flare, and the thread size on those fittings is 3/8 of an inch by 24 threads per inch. But that should do it for the review on the DeeMaxx 18 inch long rubber hydraulic brake line with the 3/16 of an inch brass male inverted flares.

The order arrived on time. My first order for this project included free delivery.Free delivery doesn’t mean you get it on time. It was a day late. I paid for overnight air on this order and it came in before noon next day like I was promised.

These are well constructed, but the flare nuts are of a different size than the other hoses with same specification, I had to use a 10mm wrench on these flare nuts, and they were very tight going into my "T" connectors
You can judge a company in the way they handle problems. I received a brake hose that had been improperly assembled by the manufacturer. I sled Etrailer (at night!). Brittany listened and said she would ship another one at their expense. I received the hose today. Etrailer quickly took care of the issue. This is a company with whom I want to do business! 5 stars!
