Today we're going to be taking a look at part number BDAC5000300. This is the Bulldog 5 position, adjustable channel bracket for cast head couplers. You can use this 5 position mounting bracket with Bulldog's cast head adjustable coupler to achieve 8 inches of vertical adjustment. Again, this is designed for use with the Bulldog adjustable cast head couplers. It's going to have 5 mounting positions. You have 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
This is a weld on application. It has a nice steel construction. The raw steel finish is a great feature to have. It always for very easy prep work when it comes to welding this onto your application. We're going to go over a few measurements real quick. The overall height, measuring from edge to edge, is going to give us a measurement of 11 3/4 of an inch.
The distance that we have between these holes, center on center, are going to measure right on 2 inches. That's going to be the same for all the sets. The holes are going to have a diameter of 5/8 of an inch. The channel width here on the inside, that's going give us a measurement of 3 inches. Outside to outside is going measure about 3 5/8 of an inch.
The range of adjustment with this channel bracket is going to be 8 inches and it's going to have a capacity of 24,000 pounds. That's going to do it for our review of part number BDAC5000300. This is the Bulldog 5 position adjustable channel bracket for cast head couplers. .

I had them professionally welded onto a piece of plate and bolted them onto the trailer frame. They work great providing me with the diversity of multiple tow vehicles with varying hitch heights.

Heavy duty, all demensions as advertised. Worked great with the 14k 2-5/16 adjustable coupling, there was a little play side-side fixed that by placing washers between the coupling and bracket. Would buy again. Great price.

These are great for repairing trailers that were bent or damaged by a driver that wasn’t careful backing up or turning to sharp. I did not give it 5 stars because the inside of the channel is about 1/8 inch to wide for the cast head, so shimming is needed or it will “rattle”
Used this for a land roller (farm implement used to roll the field after planting). Works great for my application. If it's beefy enough to survive being pulled across acres and acres of rough plowed ground, its good.
This Bulldog weld-on bracket was the perfect thing to replace a bent, old adjustable bracket. I cut off the "wings" on the old bracket, used the grinder to make it flat and remove the paint, then welded this new one on. The inside width (on my particular bracket) was slightly wider that 3", so I will use some shims to take up the slop.
The best and easiest way to make an adjustable hitch. Welded nicely.

There was a lot of tolerance built into the item, coupler rattles in it as going down the road. Item was sturdy, as described and worked for my project.
