Today we're going to take a look at the Curt four position secure latch adjustable lunette ring channel with a 40,000 pound weight capacity. Now this 11 and three quarter inch tall adjustable channel bracket will let you move your secure latch, lunette ring up or down to match your application. The adjustable channel works with the Curt secure latch lunette ring, which we do sell separately on our website, part number CU99FR or CU39FR. This Curt secure latch lunette ring requires three bolts for installation, so that's why you'll get four adjustment positions out of it. The four position height adjustment allows for nice precise trailer leveling. This part is a cast iron construction.
It is Aust tempered for nice superior strength and it is a raw finish so it allow us for immediate welding.Few specs on this again, the weight capacity is 40,000 pounds. The dimension we mentioned is 11 and three quarter inches tall. There's your height and the width which is the inside width on this channel is going to be right at two and three quarter inches wide and the hole spacing, in other words, the distance between the mounting holes, if we go center to center, can see us right at two inches. But that should do it for the review on the Curt four position secure latch adjustable lunette ring channel with the 40,000 pound gross towing weight capacity.

Makes hooking up to pintle trailer easier and holds the ring with less slop, so a tighter connection that smooths out the ride in the truck. Ordered a second one and will be getting more. Also allows easy towing of smaller trailers with conventional 2 inch ball requirements.

Have had this for a year. Super easy to work with going between a dump trailer hauling logs and my bandit 15xp chipper. Holding up well without any problems.

Pleased as always with customer service and quick shipping. Note for any possible customers of the secure latch. It does not come with any hardware to attach to plate. 1/2” grade 8 bolts 2” long were perfect fit.

Works great. I have a hitch camera so when backing into the trailer the pintle touches the stops and your lined up perfect. The latch bar works really good also. I have only used the with a pintle hitch.

- Mounting Hardware for Curt SecureLatch Lunette Ring on a 4-Position Adjustable ChannelTo install the Curt SecureLatch Lunette Ring # CU39FR on the 4-Position Adjustable Channel # CU69FR you need the Curt Bolt Kit # C48620. This comes with a few extra bolts and washers because Curt also has some kits where the channel mounts to the trailer with bolts instead of welding.
view full answer... - Replacement 3" Channel and 2-5/16" Coupler For Trailer With 2-3/4" Wide ChannelThe 2-3/4" Channel # CU69FR you have will only accept the Curt SecureLatch Lunette Ring # CU99FR. You will need to have a new channel welded on to use a 2-5/16" coupler. I recommend the Demco Trailer Coupler w/ 5-Position Adjustable Channel # DM6125-52 with its EZ latch coupler.
view full answer... - Is a 2-7/8" Wide Channel Going to Allow For a 3" Wide Channel Coupler? I think you may have one of the Curt Channels # CU69FR rather than the more standard 3" wide channel on your trailer. This only fits the Curt SecureLatch Lunette Ring # CU99FR. The Coupler # DM12688-95 you found does require a 3" wide inside channel width. While the parts will sometimes allow for a little play an 1/8" is going to be to much of a difference.
