Today we're going to be taking a look at the MaxxTow MaxxHaul trailer tongue toolbox.This is going to be a steel construction that's going to fit on your A-frame trailers. It's going to be made of steel, it's 14 gauge steel, so it is going to be pretty hefty and it has a powder coated finish to help resist against the rust and corrosion and the elements.This is going to give you about 2.75 cubic feet of storage, so you can put whatever you need in there, whether you have a battery for your winch, maybe even just a couple of tie down straps, whatever it is. You're going to be able to put it all in there, lock it up, and it does have a weather proof seal underneath here, so you don't have to worry about anything that's in your toolbox getting wet.As you can see here, we have plenty of room to put our jump box and also a couple of ratchet straps. It's going to be ideal for those winter months whenever we need a jump, and we can lock it so we don't have to worry about our Snap-on jump box going anywhere. more

DeeZee A-Frame Trailer Tongue Toolbox Installation- Video
Today on our A-frame utility trailer, we'll be installing the Dee Zee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox, part number DZ91717P. We're going to begin by setting the box up on the trailer's tongue and seeing exactly where we'll need to mount it. Because our trailer has a difference in height from the side rails on the tongue to this cross brace, we use a couple of flat washers to space it up to make sure that the box doesn't crush down when we attach our mounting hardware. With our box in the position that we want it, we'll go ahead and raise the lid. Now, we're going to go ahead and drill the two front holes through the box from the inside and mark our trailer frame with the drill bit so we'll know where we need to drill all the way through. Next we're going to go ahead and measure for our rear holes. Now that we've drilled each of our rear locations, we'll go ahead and again slide the box off and finish drilling through the trailer tongue. Now that we have all four holes drilled, we're going to go ahead and take our spacer washers and set them over each of the front two locations. more

DeeZee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox Review- Video
Today on our utility trailer we'll be installing the Deezee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox for A-frame style tongues in bright tread aluminum, part number DZ91716. Now to being with, we'll go ahead and center up the box on our trailer tongue. The A-frame on the front of the trailer has a center bar running through it that already has a groove cut in it that'll allow us to mount right through it. We're going to go ahead and center up our box, and mark from the underneath side three areas that we need to drill a hole. Now that we've got our three locations marked underneath, we're going to go ahead and flip the box over so we can drill our holes in through the box. Now with our three locations drilled, we'll go ahead and set the box back on the tongue of the trailer and line it up with the center bar and the groove that's cut in it. We'll then go ahead and take a small flat washer, slide it over our bolt, put it through the hole as well as the trailer tongue, and on the other side we use a little bit larger washer and a locking nut. Now the trailer tongue box actually comes with four self-tapping screws, but for our particular application we we're unable to use them. So we had to go ahead and get some separate bolts as well as nuts and washers to accommodate our mounting. Now because of our mounting locations, we're going to go ahead and have someone go ahead and tighten down on the bolts from the inside of the box while we hold a wrench on the underside. Now with all three bolts tightened down, we can go ahead and show you the operation of the box. There is a locking handle to secure your goods inside the box, or you can simply turn the key and the lid unlocks. You can see that there's a single gas shock that aids in lifting the lid as well as holding the lid up when the box is open. With that, that'll conclude our installation of the Deezee Specialty Series Trailer Tongue Toolbox for A-frame style tongues, part number DZ91716, for our utility trailer. . more

United Welding Services Trailer Toolbox Review- Video
Today we are going to install part number UWS01039 from United Welding Service UWS. What this is is their tool box, chest type, that is designed for the front of trailers and we will cover some of the components of the box. First you can see it is made entirely of aluminum. Diamond plate and tread plate. It also comes with its own locking handle right here that just pops open a little bit. You can see it stays up with gas cylinder right here. When you look at the lid you can see it has a foam weather strip going all the way around the perimeter that helps keep the wind, rain, and dust out of the inside of the box.
