Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best hitch options for the 2016 Toyota Tacoma. You're gonna have three hitch options for your Toyota Tacoma. We're gonna have the Draw-Tite, the etrailer, and the Curt. Now the biggest difference in my opinion in these hitches is gonna be how they install, especially if you're doing it yourself at home. The Draw-Tite hitch, the hardware's gonna install on the outside of the framework of the hitch and then the etrailer and the Curt are gonna install on the inside, which it helps to make the base of the hitch a little bit wider, but it's really hard to get a torque wrench in a socket to fit in this area. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the draw-tite max-frame trailer hitch receiver. This is a custom fit class 3 hitch with a 2-inch opening. Part number is 75238. Here's what the new hitch is going to look like installed on your truck, really clean look. Mainly all we're going to see is our receiver tube opening here. On the very outside corner, you'll see a little bit of that cross tube, but really nothing to speak of. more

Today on our 2016 Toyota Tacoma, we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class 3 Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is part number C13264. Here's what our hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, it's got a really nice hidden look with the main cross tube here. All we're really going to be able to notice is our receiver tube opening and our safety chain connection points here underneath. This is a class 3, so we've got a 2" x 2" receiver tube opening. more
