Hi there, Outback owners. Today on your 2015 Subaru Outback, we're going to be taking a look at and showing how to install CURT's Class 3 2" trailer hitch receiver. The crosstube's hidden completely behind our bumper, so the only thing that you're going to be able to see is the receiver tube here at the back. It does stick down and out a little bit so it is noticeable, but it doesn't detract from the looks of the vehicle too much.It's a Class 3 2" by 2" receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs, whether you want to take a bike rack, load it up with four bikes, or your camper with you to the cabin for the weekend. It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com.On the bottom we have loop-style safety chain hoops. more

Hi there, Outback owners. Today in our 2015 Subaru Outback, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install eco hitches, Class II one and a quarter inch trailer hitch receiver. This is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. The cross tube is completely hidden behind the facia, so you'll only see the receiver here at the back and it tucks up nicely underneath the bumper so it really doesn't attract much from the looks of the vehicle. It's a Class II one and a quarter by one and a quarter inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your light duty applications. Whether you want to put a bike rack in it and bring some bikes with you to the trail, or if you want to put in a very small utility trailer and do some very light towing. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer class 3 customer fit trailer hitch receiver, Part Number E98847.So here's what our hitch is gonna look like once we have it installed in our Outback. You can see that the cross tube is gonna be visible, and it's gonna sit right below the bumper. But it is gonna have that nice carbide flat black finish to it, so it's gonna blend in with the plastic on the bottom of our bumper really nice. Now it is gonna be a class 3 hitch, which means it's gonna give us that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening and have a really wide variety of accessories, whether we're looking for a ball mount to tow a trailer or a bike rack or even a cargo carrier.Now the way we're gonna mount any of those accessories inaudible 00:00:44 the hitch pin hole here on the side, and it is gonna accept a standard 5/8 pinning clip. Although they're not included in the kit, you can pick them up here at etrailer.com along with locks to keep your accessories safe.Now as far as the safety chain connection points go, it's gonna be a plate style welded to the bottom of the receiver tube and as you can see, we're not gonna have too much trouble getting most size hooks on or off. Speaker 1: Today on this 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the EcoHitch Hidden Class III Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 306-X7266. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. You'll notice about this hitch, compared to other hitches on the market, the only part you'll see hanging down is the actual receiver itself, and there's no visible cross tube going underneath our fascia. This is something that many of our customers really enjoy about this hitch. Because we don't have that visible cross tube, this maintains a nice clean look on our Outback.This being a Class III hitch with its two-by-two receiver opening, this makes it a very capable hitch and gives you the most options available when it comes to using hitch-mounted accessories. It's part number is C13206. All right guys, this is what our hitch is going to look like installed on the vehicle. It's going to give us a nice, clean look. We've got the rounded bar we'll see from side plate to side plate. This tucks in pretty nice so it's not as wide as the entire vehicle there. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon - Draw-Tite 75673- Video
Today on our 2015 Subaru Outback Wagon we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Draw-Tite Max Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is a custom fit class 3 receiver with a 2 inch opening, its part number is 75673. Here's what the hitch is going to look like once you get it installed. It's a nice class 3 hitch, it's going to give us a lot of options as far as what we can use it with, cargo carriers, bike racks, towing's not a problem with this. This is going to offer a 600 pound maximum tongue weight rating and a 4,000 pound gross trailer weight rating, of course check the owner's manual in the Outback, make sure it can handle that, if not go off of what ever of those numbers are the lowest. You can see this is going to have the dual pin set up. The one furthest in is for our hitch pin and clip, maybe our anti-rattle device, maybe our locking hitch pin, any 5/8 accessory will work great with that. more
