Today on our 2018 Nissan Frontier, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the etrailer Class III custom fit trailer hitch receiver.Here's what our hitch looks like once we have it installed on our Frontier. The cross tube's going to be pretty well hidden behind the bumper, and all we're going to see is that receiver tube sticking out right underneath. It's a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, and have a really wide variety of accessories that we can mount up.Whether we're mounting up a ball mount, a cargo carrier, or a bike rack, or any other accessory, we're going to use the hitch pin hole here on the side. It is going to accept the standard 5/8 pin and clip. These are not included in the kit, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure.Our safety chain connection point's going to be a loop style, welded to the bottom of the receiver. You can see that we're not going to have too much trouble getting most sized hooks on and off. more

Then right below that we're going to have our etrailer Class 3 hitch. Then finally, below that we're going to have our CURT Class 3 hitch.If I was looking for a hitch for my Frontier, I would probably go with the Draw-Tite for a few different reasons. It is going to have an increased tongue weight, which is going to be nice for a few different accessories we might want, or just to have your trailer, as well as some minor differences that it'll have over the two etrailer and the CURT. So here what our hitch looks like once we have it installed. Now the cross tube is barely gonna stick out below our bumper. But really, the main thing we're gonna see is that receiver tube sticking out. It is a class 3 hitch, which means it's gonna give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening and it's got that nice reinforced collar, giving it added strength and just an overall clean finished look. So here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it on our truck. Now that cross-tube is going to sit just below our bumper. We're going to be able to see about half of it. But the main thing we're really going to see is that receiver tube sticking out towards the back.
