Today we're going to be taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2010 Mazda 3 hatchback. Now both our hitches are going to be Class 1 offerings, which is about all the weight we're going to be able to carry with our Mazda 3 anyway. First we've got our Draw-Tite. This is part number 24843. It's going to have the 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening just like our CURT, which we have here. This is part number C11383. Now both of our hitches are going to offer an 1-1/4" by 1-1/4" receiver tube opening. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Mazda 3 - Draw-Tite- Video
Today on our 2010 Mazda Speed 3 we'll be installing the Draw-Tite hitch, part number 24843. This is what our hitch will look like once installed. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements. This will assist you with selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 7-1/2". From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 10". more

Today on this 2010 Mazda 3, we're going to install part number 24842 from Draw-Tite. This is a class one, inch and a quarter receiver hitch. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our Mazda 3. Next we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. Top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 11 inches. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outside edge of the bumper will be about six inches. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2010 Mazda 3- Video
Today on this 2010 Mazda 3 we are going to install part number 11383 from Curt. This is what the hitch looks like on the vehicle to pick out accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground is going to be 10-1/ 4 inches and from the center of the hitch pin out to the edge of the bumper is going to be 3-1/ 4 inches. Next we will show you how it gets installed on the vehicle. The first thing we need to do is remove these two bolts that hold the bumper fascia in place.
