Hi there, Hyundai owners. Today in your 2018 Hyundai Ionic, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install Draw-Tite's 1-1/4 inch trailer hitch receiver. Now this is what our hitch looks like when it's installed. You can see a little bit of the cross tube here at the bottom, but it's tucked up very well underneath of it, and so was our receiver. So really most of this, you almost don't even notice that it's even there.It's a Class I, 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch receiver. So it's going to be great for all light duty applications, and any accessories that you want to put in there. more

Speaker 1: Today on this 2018 Hyundai Ionic we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Curt Class One trailer hitch receiver, part number C11486. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Now what's great about this hitch is that it's completely hidden behind our rear fascia.The only part that you see hanging down is the 1 1/4 receiver opening itself. One nice feature about it as well is that it's tucked up behind our fascia so when we're loading cargo into our hatch area we don't have to worry about running our legs into the receiver. One the side of our receiver you'll find our industry standard 1/2 inch diameter hitch-pin hole to secure any of your hitch mounted accessories with a separate pin and clip.We have those available on our website. Now when you're using the hitch for a non-towing applications Curt recommends that you use a stabilization strap to help support the load. more
