But before we do that, why don't we check it out, and make sure that this is the right hitch for you. So, right off the bat, I do wanna address one of the main questions that we get asked in regards to putting a hitch on the CR-V. And that is, you know, is the hitch going to interfere with the hands-free liftgate assist And the answer is no. Trailer Hitch Installation - 2017 Honda -CR-V

Today on our 2017 Honda CRV we're going to be taking a look at the Draw Tite Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 76128. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below our bumper and we're going to see the nice design of the round cross tube right underneath. Now, this is a class III hitch, so it's going to give you a 2 inch by 2 inch receiver tube opening, and as you can see it has that nice reinforced collar, so it's going to have that clean, finished look. Now, this is going to use a standard 5/8 pin and clip, which are not included in our kit, but you can pick one up on our website using part number PC3. Now, the second hole here towards the rear, this is going to be used for a J pin stabilization device, which is going to be great if any of your accessories don't have a built in anti-rattle. Now, our safety chain loops, this is like a rolled steel stock that's welded underneath our receiver tube here, and it's going to match nicely with our round crossbar right here. more

Today in our 2017 Honda CRV we're going to be taking a look at the Draw-Tite custom fit trailer hitch receiver. Part number 36597. Here's what our hitch looks like fully installed. It's going to sit right below the bumper. It's going to have that nice round tube cross bar that you're going to see. It's going to have a nice clean finished look. This is a class two hitch so it's going to give you and inch and a quarter by an inch and a quarter receiver tube opening. more
