Speaker 2: Today on this 2012 Honda CRV, we're going to review and install the etrailer.com trailer hitch receiver, part number E98868.All right. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on our CRV. You can notice, right off the bat, it does sit up as close as you can to the bumper. If we look at it here, compared to the bumper, it does stick out just a little bit. However, if you're going to use this for non-towing applications like a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier, you can use that to your advantage because you got more clearance between your bumper and your accessory out here.Let's take a look at the closer details. Today on our 2012 Honda CRV we're going to review and install Draw-Tite class three 2" receiver tube hitch, part number 75742. Now here's what our hitch will look like once it's installed. As you can see, we got a nice round crosstube design with a fully welded construction and a nice black powder-coated finish. That's tucked up nicely underneath the vehicle and the only thing really exposed is our class three 2" by 2" receiver tube, 5/8 pre-drilled pinhole going through the receiver tube, and then a 1/2" hole that's designed for an anti-rattle bolt. Then we have our chain hold downs on each side. This hitch is capable up to 520 pounds of tongue weight and 3,500 pounds of tow capacity. more

Today on our 2012 Honda CR-V, were going to be installing the Curt Hitch, part number 11555. This is what out hitch will look like once its installed. Here are a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11-1/2 inches. This will assist you in selecting accessories such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier. more

Today in our list, we've got a 2012 Honda CRV. And we're going to be installing CURT hitch part number C13119. The first step in our installation is to remove these plastic appearance panels. There's a handful of push pins that we're going to need to remove and there's also three bolts that we're going to need to remove along the back. To remove our push fasteners, you can either use a flathead screwdriver, or if you got one, a pry tool. There's one more fastener here near the driver's side fender well right at the edge of the body. more
