Trailer Hitch Installation - 2014 Ford Mustang - Draw-Tite

Today on our 2014 Ford Mustang, we're going to review and install the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Class I 1-1/4" Receiver Tube Hitch part number 24863. Here's what our hitch is going to look like once installed. As you can see, this is a custom fit and the square cross tube, fully welded hitch and the nice black powder coated finish really blend in well with the under body of the vehicle. Here on either side of the receiver tube is our chain hold down, the half-inch pre-drilled hole going through the receiver tube and then our 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver tube which is capable of up to 200 pounds of tongue weight and 2,000 tow capacity. Next we'll go ahead and give you a couple of measurements to assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 8". From the top of the receiver tube opening down to the ground is 9-1/2, so you want to be aware of that when selecting the right ball mount or bike rack for your hitch. more
