Adding a hitch receiver to your Dodge Durango, it's, it just makes sense. It's, the Dodge Durango's got a pretty impressive towing capacity, and the tongue weight capacity to be able to handle pulling trailers or having a bike rack or a cargo carrier on the back of it. Hey everyone, Ryan here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at our best trailer hitch options for your 2019 Dodge Durango. Today we're gonna be looking at four different trailer hitches. Right here, we have a draw-tite, this one is the etrailer.com hitch, (indistinct) curt, and another draw-tite. And if you we're to ask me, you know, what one would I put on my own Durango hands down it would be this draw-tite up here. Really, for two big reasons; one of 'em is gonna be the appearance, I think it looks the best. more

Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking look at the Draw-Tite Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2019 Dodge Durango. Now, what's really going to set our Draw-Tite hitch apart is that, actually, it's in place right now. We have this factory knockout panel that's going to cover the hitch up. So it's going to have a super clean factory appearance because no one's going to know it's there unless we're using it.Should have these two turn knobs at the bottom. We can loosen those up. more

Now a lot of people immediately think of towing a trailer when they think of a trailer hitch, but there's a lot of other things that we can do with our hitch. For instance, having a hitch will make it a lot easier for one to go on a bike ride, because we can put a bike rack in here, take some friends with us and we won't have to take up the space on the inside of our Durango. Rob: Hey everybody, Rob here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Curt Class III custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2019 Dodge Durango. Now, when you think of a trailer hitch, most people are going to think about towing a trailer, and we totally can do that with our Durango, but it's also going to allow us to put other accessories in there, like a bike rack that way we won't have to worry about cramming our bikes in the inside, or maybe we just need to make a little bit of room, we can put a cargo carrier on there. The fact that it is a Class III hitch means it's going to give us that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, we're going have the widest variety of accessories that we can use and mount up, but regardless of what accessories we do mount up, they're all going to mount to the hitch pin hole here on the side.Now our hitch is going to accept a standard 5/8 pin and clip. Now these are not included with the hitch, but you can pick them up here at etrailer.com, along with some locking devices to make sure your accessories are secure and anti-rattle devices to cut down all that annoying road noise when we're going down the road, from our accessories rattling inside the receiver tube.
