Hi there Chrysler owners. Today on your 2012 Chrysler Town and Country we're going to be installing etrailer.com's class three two-inch trailer hitch receiver.This is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. The cross tube is going to be mostly hidden behind the bumper, so you're really only going to notice the receiver tube at the back here. This a class three two inch by two inch receiver and that's going to be great for all of your towing needs.This means you and your family can put on a bike rack and haul up to four bikes or more, whereas your lighter hitches, not like this one, can only haul a minimal amount of bikes, such as one or two. It's also great for cargo carriers and throwing a ball mount in and hauling a trailer as well.It uses a 5/8" hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with the hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2012 Chrysler Town and Country - Curt- Video
Today on this 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, we're going to show you the CURT Class 2, 1-1/4 inch Receiver Hitch, part number C12264. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on a Town and Country. Now, you can see, there's not much there. At initial look at it, all you're really going to see is a receiver hitch and loops for safety chains. This is an 1-1/4 inch receiver that uses a 1/2 inch hitch pin or your favorite locking pin. We can take a look underneath the vehicle, we'll go ahead and see the structure of it. The body of the hitch is a square tube that goes out to both sides of the vehicle. Next, we'll go ahead and give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. more

Today in our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country we will be installing Hidden Hitch 1 1/4 inch receiver tube hitch, part number 90169. This is what our hitch will look like once it is installed. Next I am going to give you a couple of measurements. This will assist your selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 6 1/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 13 inches. more

Today on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country, we'll be installing the Draw-Tite Hitch, part number 36455. This is what our hitch will look like once installed. Next I'll go ahead and give you a couple measurements, this will assist you with selecting accessories such as a ball mount, bike rack, or cargo carrier. From the center of the hitchpin hole to the outermost edge of the bumper is 6 and 1/4 inches. From the top of the receiver tube opening to the ground is 13 inches. Now I'll go ahead with the installation. Starting on the passenger side, we'll need to lower the exhaust. more

Today on this 2012 Chrysler Town and Country were going to install a hidden hitch part #: 87451. This will be comparable to the draw type hitch part #: 75579. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. from the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 6 inches. From the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 11 and inches. Now lets go ahead with the installation. more

Today on our 2012 Chrysler Town and Country were going to install a curt hitch part #: 13364. Here are a couple of measurements that will assist you in selecting accessories for your new hitch. From the center of the hitch pinhole to the outermost point of the bumper is 4 and a quarter inches, from the top of the receiver tube to the ground is 12 inches. This will assist you with selecting accessories. Now lets go ahead with the installation. Before we can install our hitch well first need to lower the vehicle exhaust. more
