Today on our 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 HD we're going to be taking a look at and installing the BMW turnover ball underbed gooseneck trailer hitch with custom installation kit, Part Number BWGNRK1012. Here's what it looks like once it's installed on the vehicle. As you can see, we've got the gooseneck ball here. This is a 2-5/16th inch ball. It's a solid construction ball so it's going to be really nice and heavy-duty. That, along with the overall design of this, helps to give it a 7,500 pound vertical load limit and a 30,000 pound max towing capacity. One of the best features about this is that you're able to flip the ball over and store it away. That way it's a hitch when you need it and a level bed when you don't. more

To begin with well need to go ahead and remove the mud flaps on this particular vehicle as well as the inner fender liners. To make things a little bit easier, to get our Hide-A-Goose into place, we are going to go ahead and loosened up the bed bolts so that we can slip some blocks of wood in between the bed of the frame and give us a little clearance. With an extra set of hands, we'll go ahead and with the bed up and slide R block of wood into place. Now are going to need to go ahead and mark on our heat shield where will need to cut and remove it. more
