Superwinch SX12SR Integrated Off-Road Winch Review- Video
Hello neighbor, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at the Superwinch integrated off-road winch rated at 12,000 pounds. Today we have this installed on a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and this one is a Rubicon, which works really well with the steel bumpers. We'll able to use a Bulldog winch mounting plate to get this in and this is a really good looking winch. And also being rated at 12,000 pounds means pretty much anything you throw at this Jeep it's gonna be able to handle that. Just because this is on a Jeep doesn't mean that it has to be. You can mount this on a number of different things, whether it be a trailer or a truck. more

Today, we're gonna take a look at the Superwinch Tiger Shark Off-Road Winch with the wire rope, the roller fairlead, and an 18,000 pound rated line pull. Now, this is a heavy-duty off-road winch, it is designed for heavy-duty vehicle recovery applications, uses an extruded aluminum body with a nice black textured finish, so it's sturdy and corrosion resistant, and it does use the stainless steel tie-bars and hardware that adds strength and instructional rigidity to the body. Over here is a sealed 6.8 horsepower series-wound motor, delivers quick, safe line pulling, and it'll respond to an increase in load by slowing down and reducing the current to minimize the risk of overheating. Does also use an automatic mechanical brake, which will hold 100% of the load while minimizing winch creep. Over here, has an all-steel, 4-stage planetary gear box, the gear ratio is 345 to 1, it is a nice, rugged construction, so it'll deliver years of service, and it quickly and quietly turns the drum. more

If you noticed on this, it has a nice, compact motor housing and gearbox on this side, so it does fit most vehicles. The motor on this is a heavy-duty five horsepower series wound motor, so it'll deliver superior torque output and fast line speed, and the motor is also equipped with a thermal protection switch. Hey guys it's Kevin here with etrailer. And today we're gonna be taking a look at the ComeUp UW-5000si trailer winch, here on our enclosed race trailer. So on the front of our winch here, we're gonna have a manual and an out button, and the event that our battery dies on our winch remote we have a battery disconnect button that you can see is it up right now, red, because it's powered on, that way you don't have to go ahead and install any kind of disconnect switch, on top of purchasing this winch. You can easily just press this button in, it'll pop back out and then cut the power going to your winch, so it's not sitting there draining your battery when you have it in storage. It also has an indicator on here, that's gonna tell you, you just, how far your battery is as you can see, it looks like we're sitting, four outta five bars here. So we know we got plenty of power to power our winch. more

Hi there operators Today we're gonna be taking a look in showing you how to install etrailer's 5,000 pound winch on our 2018 Kawasaki Teryx4-800. And this is what our winch looks like when it's installed. It mounts directly to the plate right here at the bottom of your Kawasaki. There is some drilling required in order to get it in place, but all in all, it's a pretty easy installation 'cause everything's kinda right out open, right out in the open here at the front. Hi there Kawasaki owners. Today in your 2018 Kawasaki Mule, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer's 5,000 pound winch.And this is what our winch looks like when it's installed. To get it mounted up, we didn't use the bracket that came included with it, but instead we used a custom mounting bracket from Bulldog that is specifically designed for the Mule here. One of the things you will have to change out is the fairlead here at the front as this bracket is designed for fairleads with a 5 7/8 width for the hole spacing, whereas the one that comes with etrailer winch is going to be 6 1/2. But otherwise it does mount right up to this bracket and it greatly simplifies your installation.This winch is rated for 5,000 pounds, so that's going to be more than enough for any of your ATVs and UTVs out there. This is a standard-duty winch with a synthetic rope, so it is going to be able to pull cars, trucks, and other vehicles up onto your trailer. This Superwinch UT3000 is a nice, lightweight utility winch that can be used either as a portable tool, or it can be permanently mounted using this included two-bolt pattern mounting plate.
