When it comes to motorhomes, a lot of people really aren't satisfied with how they perform. In terms of driving it down the road, the suspension's kinda all over the place, the steering's usually sloppy. And these are just a big brick more or less going down the road. And really top-heavy, they catch wind. more

Hey guys, Kevin here at etrailer. And today we'll be showing you how to install the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar here on our 2016 Ford F-53 Chassis. So why don't you just gimme kind of a general overview of how it felt to drive you motor home prior to the steering stabilizer and the sway bars. Okay, well. Generally, anytime I was going down the highway whether it was a truck going by or just bumps in the road, I was constantly doing this, just fighting to keep it in between the white lines. Some roads we're pretty good but some of them we're really awful. more

Roadmaster Class A Motorhomes Exact Center Steering Stabilizer Installation - 2016 Ford F-53- Video
Hey guys, Kevin here at etrailer. And today I'm going to be showing you how to install the Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer here on our 2016 Ford F-53 chassis. If you experience a lot of wandering when you're going down the highway, maybe you have a lot of high crosswinds or when a semi comes by, starts to kind of push you and you really have to fight that steering wheel back and it's kind of just a little bit too hard or harder than it should be. Then what you're gonna wanna do is install the Roadmaster Exact Center Steering Stabilizer. This steering stabilizer has a nitrogen gas filled shock in the center of it, so there's no more big heavy coil that's gonna be sittin' on there, that you'll have to deal with. And what it's gonna do is just keep this tie rod in place, keep you going exactly straight. more

Hi there, Ford owners. Today on your 2016 Ford F-53 Chassis motorhome, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Roadmaster's rear anti-sway bar. Now, before we install our components, we're gonna go and hit our test course to get a baseline on how motorhome feels. We're gonna start with the uneven bumps section, which is gonna simulate hitting a pothole. And right away, once we hit that first one, we get some rocking going back and forth there. So we can tell it's a little bit of slight lift, pretty good rock just from one little bump there. more

Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2016 Ford F-53 1139-144- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2016 ACE Thor Motorcoach on the Thor F-53 Chassis we're gonna take a look at showing you how to install the Roadmaster rear anti sway bar, part number 113-144. We will also be using the extended U bold kit for Roadmaster anti sway bars, part number RN-590050-00.This kit is gonna come with a 1-3/4 inch diameter sway bar designed to improve the handling of your vehicle by reducing body roll and balancing the weight transfer during cornering. It's gonna come with all necessary hardware to get it installed.To begin installation, what we're gonna be doing is we're gonna be taking this plate off and we're gonna be replacing these U bolts. And before doing that, if you're going to do this and lift the vehicle where your wheels are off the ground, you wanna make sure you put jack stands and support this axle. Because what's gonna happen is when you take this plate off, the axle will drop. So you need to make sure you have it sitting on something.What you're gonna wanna do is you're gonna wanna spray down each bolt with some lubrication, just gonna help these come off a little bit easier. more

Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar Installation - 2016 Ford F-53- Video
Today on our 2016 Forest River FR3 we're going to take a look at and show you how to install the Roadmaster Front Anti-sway Bar. Part number is RM-1139-140. Here you can see our sway bar installed. Give you a nice look. Doesn't look that much different than our factory sway bar, but it has great advantages to it in really helping to reduce driver fatigue. The wind of passing cars and things like that always tend to make it where we have to constantly correct the steering wheel and fight it down the road to get where we're going. more
