Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer, and today we're gonna be talking about the best trailer wiring options for you in a 2015 Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner is a more sporty or outdoorsy vehicle, so chances are you're probably gonna wanna haul something with it, especially if it has electric brakes or if you wanna do some overlanding or some off-roading and you have some accessories on the back of here that require power. That's gonna be a few reasons why you're gonna need some wiring and how it's gonna accomplish that. There's gonna be two really common wiring types, and that's gonna be your 7-pole and your 4-pole wiring. Now, a lot of different 4Runners are gonna have different variations on this, and that's mainly gonna depend on what trim package you have. Now, if you have the base trim package, most likely, you're probably not gonna have any wiring installed already, so that's gonna be something you're gonna have to invest in or put in yourself. more

Front Runner Ladder Review - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and be showing you how to install this ladder from Front Runner for your 2015 Toyota 4Runner. Now the ladder has a weight capacity of 260 pounds. Myself, I'm 240, so I'm getting pretty close to the limit there, but I will say it feels pretty solid. The one downside I have, or complaint I'd have about it is it's really narrow. more

So it's designed to work with those 5th Gen 4Runners and give you an easier way up to the roof, whether it's to access your factory crossbars or if you added a Front Runner platform, maybe stuff that's up on the platform. Let's check it out. So right out of the gate, there's a few things to know about this ladder. It's gonna be pretty narrow, so my feet, I can really only fit one on one rung at a time, and it does have a weight capacity of 260 pounds. more

Curt Trailer Brake Controller Wiring Adapter Installation - 2015 Toyota 4Runner- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be showing you how to install the Curt custom wiring adapter for trailer brake controllers here on our 2015 Toyota 4runner. So the first step of our installation, we need to find the factory brake controller port on our vehicle. Now this is gonna be located underneath the dash here and sorta to the left of the emergency brake pedal. So let's go ahead and give you a closer view of that now. So we're underneath the dash here. Here is the arm for our emergency brake pedal and directly to the left of that, we should see a large wiring harness here. more
