etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2018 Ford F-150- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2018 Ford F150. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it's a nice clean fit. In fact, it doesn't stick out any more past the bumper so I really like the look that it gives you and you have a nice matte black powder coat finish. The cross tube is pretty well hidden under here as well, so really all you see is the receiver tube opening. And this one being a two inch by two inch means that you're gonna have tons of accessories to load up. So whether you're putting a bike rack, a cargo carrier or a ball mount, and this is all gonna be a great option you'll have plenty of options to pick from with that two inch by two inch. more

The biggest difference right off the bat that you're gonna notice between this hitch and the hitch that came on this truck is that it's gonna have two hitch receivers. The hitch that came on this truck had a three-inch hitch receiver, but the owner of this vehicle has an in-bed camper. So the camper sticks out to here so there's no room to even use the hitch anymore. And what he wants to do is he wants to take a boat with him when he goes on his camping trips. more

Curt Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2019 Ford Escape- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look and installing the CURT Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2019 Ford Escape. This is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed, and the great part is it is a hidden cross tube. So really the only thing that you're gonna see on the exterior of the vehicle is gonna be the receiver tube opening and the safety chain loops as the rest of it does hide behind the fascia. So you get a nice clean look and all the usability of your hitch. And this one being a 2 inch by 2 inch means that you have tons of options for ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers as this is kind of the standard size that you see on many hitches. And all of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a 5/8 pin and clip. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Installation - 2015 Ford Transit T150- Video

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2015 Ford Transit T150. Now this is gonna be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening which is gonna be great for a van like this. Chances are it's gonna be a work van or you're carrying things around and the ability to add a trailer just means that you're gonna be able to tow that much more equipment with you. Now when putting a ball mount or any accessories in place you are gonna be using a 5/8 pin and clip and it's not included with the hitch. So you can pick one of those up generally with your accessories. Now if you're picking up a ball mount a lot of times those won't come with it but picking up a locking one is a really nice option too because you can lock that in place, leave it on here it's not gonna get stolen. more

Now when you do put your accessories in place, you are gonna need to pick up a pin and clip. A lot of your accessories will come with them and you're gonna need a 5/8th pin and that's gonna hold all your accessories in place. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install this Curt Class 3 trailer hitch receiver on our 2022 Ford Maverick. With this being a class 3 hitch it is going to have a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening that you can use to mount up your ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers any sort of hitch mounted accessory you might need. When using those accessories they will utilize the standard 5/8 hitch pin and clip to secure it in place of the hitch pin hole. And then if you do plan on towing the safety chain loops are more than large enough and easy to get to for your standard hooks as well as some of your more oversized ones if you've got those too. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver here on a 2021 Ford F-150. So for starters, this trailer hitch is gonna be designed specifically for the models without the factory trailer hitch. So the factory frame out in trailer hitch, that is, so if you have that, this isn't gonna work, this won't replace it and it won't work in addition to it. So, unfortunately we don't have any options for that but if you're here because you don't have a hitch already on your F-150 that's where this Draw-Tite Hitch is gonna come into play. And this is what our hitch looks like installed. It's a pretty clean install. more

Now the entire trailer hitch has a matte black powder coated finish, which if you ask me blends in really nicely with the underbody paneling on the vehicle here really doesn't stick out much at all. In addition to the aesthetics it's also gonna provide us with some protection because it's protecting our hitch from rust. So adding a trailer hitch to your Edge it's gonna be an excellent option because it's gonna make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use the trailer hitch for towing but let's say we wanted to hit the trails or free up some space inside the vehicle for us and the family on those long road trips. more

If you're one that is using it for towing I would definitely recommend looking at some of our wiring kits for four pole or seven pole just to get the electric back to your trailer. So all your lights and functions work. Also with you sports and rec people out there with this you have a lot of passengers inside so it'd be nice to get some more cargo space out here because the roof is kind of tall. Roof rack is gonna be a little bit more difficult to do but you can use that for that. more
