Now this will be a great choice if you're looking for a premium option that can hold a lot of your carbon or alternative frame bikes. Now what's gonna give you that ability is this dual wheel mount system we have and it's just gonna grip on to either side of the tire holding your bike in place. Now we're gonna have a 40 pound weight capacity per bike holding up to three bikes. Now unfortunately we won't be able to accommodate our really heavy e-bikes, but this is a really heavy rack in general. So loading that up with heavy bikes would be a real handful for your vehicle. more

Saris Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp EX two bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. This is gonna be a platform style bike rack. This one holds the bike in these two wheel cradles and uses a dual wheel mount design. In this case, it means we have two wheel hooks ratcheting down over the top of each tire, really anywhere along the tire that it makes good contact and having secondary points of contact on each of those cradles in the form of wheel straps. And the result is actually a really firm hold although there is a little bit of movement here at the pivot point of the bike rack. more

CURT Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Hi, everyone, Aidan here at etrailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the Curt Premium and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe. This is gonna be a hanging-style bike rack, and what that means is the bike hangs by the frame. Two attachment points up top with straps holding it down on the cradles and a third one on the seat post, keeping our sway down to a minimum. It doesn't entirely eliminate it, especially these rubber straps, they've got a bit of stretch to them, so it doesn't completely fix the problem, but it will help with bike to bike contact as you're going down the road. Hanging-style bike racks inherently are gonna have a few more limitations to them, and this one is no different. more

Now there are some downsides to this like if you have a very heavy electric bike, this has a max weight capacity of 40 pounds, but other than that, it's a really good fit for Hyundai Santa Fe and we'll talk about why. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Rhino-Rack two bike hanging-style rack, part number RRRBC045. Now, with a bike installed, let's take a close look and show off some of the features. Starting from the outside and working our way in, we have these two reflectors on the ends of our arms, which is a nice safety feature. The cradles can be adjusted up and down on the rack and around it to accommodate bikes of different size and length and to accommodate any spacing you might want between your bikes. We have three different points where our bike is secured. We have these two rubber straps securing the top of the frame into onto the cradles, and then we have this anti-rattle cradle with a rubber strap securing it. more

Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're gonna be test fitting the Inno Aero Light 2 Bike Rack, part number INH620. We already have a bike installed on our rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features.,Starting at the end here, we do have this open lock portion, and that's where the integrated cable lock is gonna come into play. You simply pull it out, plug it into this portion here, and then lock it into place at the end here, and it does come with two keys.The cradles themselves do move back and forth and side to side and as needed, and the anti sway cradle can fold in and out as needed also. We generally have it folded up when loading and unloading because this makes 10 times easier. It will grip your bike at three points, will have the two straps up at the top, as well as the one in the anti sway cradle. And that's gonna be the one that keeps the bike from moving to far back and forth and causing bike to bike contact.When removing these, you can either push the tabs like this one here on both sides in and remove the entire strip, or such as this case, just one, and that's what I'm gonna do. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Quad 2+2, two- and four-bike platform rack for 2-inch hitches, part number S64692. We already have a bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look here.This is a pretty unique bike rack in that it can fit both motorhomes and vehicles, so you can take this with you on the road with your RV or utilize it with your home vehicle as well. Also, you can convert this from a four-bike to a two-bike as well by removing the bolt up in the center here and removing this last section of two bikes out.It's going to grip your bike at three points. We're going to have two wheel straps on either end, and the wheel cradles themselves are adjustable by loosening and tightening the knobs here and shifting them back and forth to accommodate bikes of different sizes or wheel bases.And then up at the top, we're going to have this padded frame hook. Now with the padded frame hook, it's going to help protect the frame of your bike once you're traveling to make sure there's no scratches on it even while in the install process. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Glide EX 4-Bike Rack for inch-and-a-quarter and two-inch hitches, part number: SA774.Now this is a pretty unique bike rack when it comes to the hanging style. This can fit up to four bikes, but this can also kind of glide or slide away from the vehicle with all four bikes still attached to gain rear-hatch access, which is very unique for a hanging style. Most that do actually do that, swing away as opposed to glide out.To glide it out, we have this convenient handle in the back. You pull that in and let it come out, like so. Now we have total-hatch access to get what we need, and more than enough space to do so. We'll just reverse that process to bring it back, and push it back in place til you hear a little bit of a click.The cradles themselves are stationary, and it's going to grip at three points. more

Yakima HoldUp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Today on our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe we'll be doing a test fit on the Yakima HoldUp Platform Style 2 bike rack, that's part number Y02443. I've already got it loaded up on the Santa Fe just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to hold our bikes. First off, I'd like to say that hit holds our bikes with zero frame contact. We have this large wheel hook going over our front wheel putting down pressure into the front wheel cradle. We can even run our integrated lock through our frame and back into itself to deter theft and keep anybody from removing it. When not in use just goes right back into the arm there. Here at the rear we've got a wheel strap going over our wheel and we can ratchet that down into place. One of the best features about this bike rack is it has the ability to tilt away from our vehicle so we can gain access to our rear hatch. more

Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Today in our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be doing a test fit on the Kuat NV 2.0 Platform Style 2-bike Rack. That's part number NV22G. Now it's also available in a 4-bike rack. That's part number NV 22G-NA22G, or if you already have the 2-bike rack and you'd like to get the 2 bike addition to make it a 4-bike rack, you can pick up the addition with part number NA 22G. We've already got it loaded up on our Santa Fe just to give you good idea of what it looks like and how it holds our bikes. First off, I'd like to point out that it secures our bike in 2 spots with no frame contact. We have this large wheel hook going over our front wheel putting down pressure into our front wheel cradle and then in the rear, we have a strap going over our wheel, keeping that in place. Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe- Video

Today on our 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack, part number TH912XTR. We already have a bike installed on the rack, let's go ahead and take a closer look and showoff some of the features. First thing I'd like to show is that the cradles themselves are adjustable along the length of the bike rack arms to accommodate different size bikes and style bikes. Also how it's attached to the rack, we have 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We have 2 up at the top here and 1 off to the side here. That's going to serve as an anti sway strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe th9029xt- Video

Today on this 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4-Bike rack, part number TH9029XT. We already have a bike installed. Let's go ahead and show off some of the features and take a closer look. First thing that I'd like to point out is that does have this integrated cable lock here in the center of the mast. This would be pulled, wrap around the bikes, and attach it to this end point here, then locked to ensure greater security and preventing theft and tampering of your bikes. How the bike is actually attached to the rack, we're going to have three points of contact with the bike's frame. We're going to have two straps up at the top here and then one off to the side here, and that's going to serve as an anti-swing strap to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth. more

Today, on our 2016 Hundai Santa Fe, we're doing a test fit of the Yakima Full-tilt hang style 4-bike rack. That part number is Y02462. We already have our bike on the rack, we're going to go over how it's strapped down, and also some features, as well. We've got 2 cradles holding our bike in place, with 3 straps, 2 on our frame,, and one as our anti-squeeze rack in the back. To remove 00:00:30 those, we're going to push on each grey lever, and lift up. And we'll save our anti-squeeze strap for last. We want to set our straps off to the side so we won't forget them. We want to put them in your vehicle, or you can replace them whenever you are done taking your bike off. more

We're first going to show you how we strap our bike down, then we'll go over some features. So we've got two cradles holding our bike into place, and then three straps, excuse me, four straps. Three on the frame, and then one is our anti-sway strap in the back here. Today on our 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're doing a test fit of the INNO Tire Hold Hitch Mounted Platform Rack. It's a three bike rack, and the part number for that is INH305-306. Now, we already have our bike on the rack. We're going to go over some features, and also how our bike is strapped down. So, the first feature I want to go over is our tilt-away feature. Because this is a platform style, we can tilt it away with our bike on the rack. We're going to come back here to the back. First thing I'm going to do is undo the knob back here. We're just going to let that hang off to the side. We now move this T-pin here, and lift up on this one. We'll swing this out, and as we're swinging it out we're going to turn it, and so our T-pin lines up and fits in the hole down there. more

Today on the 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex Hanging Style 4-Bike Rack. The part number is TH9029XT. Now we already have our bike on the rack, so we're first going to go over how that's strapped down then we'll go over some features. We got two cradles holding our bike in place with three straps all together. Two on the frame and then one as our anti-sway strap in the back, that's going to keep that bike from swinging back and forth and either damaging other bikes you have or damaging your vehicle. These straps we're just going to pull down, and lift up and when I say that anti-sway strap the last. We can just pull our bike off and set it off to the side. I always suggest anytime that you have straps you replace them, so you don't lose or damage any straps. With those reconnected we'll take a few measurements. more
